Burger King — Restaurant in Monmouth

I visited this location this evening to pick up a quick meal for my family at home. Upon entering, I found no other customers in the order area, yet I experienced a significant delay before my order was taken. I observed at least three drive-through customers receive their orders while I waited. I timed the wait just to place my order at over five minutes. The total time spent in the restaurant was excessive for a fast-food establishment. This lengthy wait prompted me to look at this location's online reviews, where I noticed a recurring pattern of unaddressed customer concerns. This apparent lack of management oversight was reflected in the restaurant's condition, which was in need of cleaning, and in the performance of the staff, who appeared to require additional training on the management side. My final bill was $29, a price that did not feel justified given the poor service and overall experience. Regrettably, this will be our family's final visit to this location. I would invite management or corporate representatives to verify the events of this evening by reviewing their security camera footage. I started going to Burger King before Covid. My daughter discovered their mobile app and we had fun ordering their food deals! I always use the drive through. In fact, I don't even know if I've ever been inside, lol!

In the 3+ years, I have been getting food from here, I have never gotten sick. I've eaten kid's meals, chicken, Whoppers, burgers, fries, onion rings, iced coffee, slushes, and desserts.

The deals I especially like are the $3 Whopper Wednesdays. (I like to customize it with only BBQ and extra veggies - Yum!!) I also like the weekly free fry (Sm, Md, or Lg) offer - with the purchase of anything costing $0.01 or more.

I didn't give Atmosphere a 5 ⭐ as sometimes there is trash outside that has been blown there from other places. There is also a worker or two who almost never smile. 😥

Having worked fast food before, I know smiling and making customers feel welcoming us part of the job. (I don't know life situations and I'm not making a big deal of it, because we all struggle and need encouragement! Plus fast food can be very stressful and hectic!) 2 nights ago I wanted the Wednesday whopper meal and they failed to everyone until the drive-thru was full that they can’t make burgers ! Why is it called Burger King? Tonight I went to get 2 Wednesday whopper meals and ordered them waited 17 minutes in the drive thru , went up to pay finally and three employees were pissed off and giving us mean looks and throwing peoples food in the bags seen all three employees that came to the window with not our order. Then after paying $25 for 2 meals got home the food was so disgusting looking like someone picked it out of the trash and they were not made correct at all one was supposed to be specific order and one was normal. I called to talk to the mgr and her name was Courtney , she said you can come back , sorry but no one wants to drive back and spend more gas on there mess up . We pay them to make our food right the first time . I guess ( we do it wright because we do it twice ) . I would love to not talk to a mgr I really would like it if the franchise owner could know about this anyone...
