Genova pizza 2 Go — Restaurant in Monroe Township

I came across Genova through TikTok, and I’ve been ever so grateful for coming across this business. Ali & Omar have such wonderful energy, they make every customer feel welcomed. I’ve been to the OG restaurant in Audubon plenty of times, so when I found out they were opening a new location I just had to show my support. They have a lot of the fan favorite menu items, today I tried their pizza steak with extra cooper sharp. For my first ever pizza steak it was a 10/10, the meat seasoned beautifully, their homemade sauce is always fantastic on their pies so on sandwich it was delicious, and the cooper sharp just brought this whole thing together. My girlfriend got their uncle Antonio’s sandwich, which is our favorite menu item. Fresh mozzarella, basil, homemade cutlet, balsamic glaze, & roasted peppers it all just meshes together so well. Lastly we, ordered their mozzarella sticks, those were a nice addition to both our sandwiches. Went into the new williamstown location tonite .order four slices and told the gentleman behind counter not to heat them up ,because I was in a hurry and would do it myself once I got to my house. Not going to make a long story of this. The slices ended up taking me 25 mins , because instead of just placing them in a box and taking my money , they ended up being heated up. Tho original guy who toke order ended up being on a phone call and ignoring the paying customer in front of him. Needless to say , we ended up going somewhere else . I probably would still be standing there waiting if I just didn't say forget it. Being in retail for over thirty yrs customer service should be priority. I understand there was a customer on the phone. There should be more people there that can answer phones and wait on customers that are right in front of you ready to pay. This place us a hidden gem! Was looking for a spot to grab a bite to eat ,found this spot on line ( which is RIGHT around the corner from my crib ), and decided to give it a try. All of the pizzas looked delicious! I was going to try the prime rib cheese steak, but instead asked if he had a sausage sandwich, and the owner Omar, told me that he didn't have one on the menu ,but would make me a sausage, pepper and onion sandwich [ PERSONALLY ] !!!. THE SANDWICH was DELICIOUS, the fries were EXACTLY the way that I like them, and since all the pizza looked SO Yummy, I also asked for a couple of slices of the sausage pizza !
