Candy's Pizza — Restaurant in Montague Township

My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to visit and have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose Candy's Pizza for Montague, our 161st town.

We made it to the "top" of Jersey, both geographically and geologically! Montague is the northern most town at the top of the map of the state. It also has the highest point in the state in High Point State Park.

Most other states have a sign that says "Last Exit in State" before you cross the border. Jersey has a sign that says "Last PIZZA in Jersey" before you cross the border, and Candy's Pizza is that place. We enjoyed a plain pie. This is our "Go To" Pizza place! We have had almost everything on the menu from the pizza, to calzones, to chicken fingers and even Philly Cheese Steaks! I have severe food allergies so I called looking to see if they use egg in their pizza dough. I was told on the phone I was better off not ordering since they are not disclosing the recipe to me.
