Hercules Burgers — Restaurant in Montclair

Let’s be clear. Number one to me is service. When I show up to a restaurant and …..NO ONE IS HERE …. And I take the time to say. “Happy Halloween.. how is your day going”. The response after what felt like forever was “What do you want to order”. The total amount of words said to me was. “Your total is”…. And lastly “Here you Go”. Service is only getting a 2 star because of previous experience. We have been eating here for a bit over a year. Like some food restaurants who have opened after Covid the quality has gone down. We ordered at 10 am this morning thinking the fries and the burgers would be extra fresh. They were not. The burger was under cooked. ( Hard to do with such a thin patty). The three orders of chili cheese fries were cold. The fries were stale, as if they used last night fries and tried to reheat them. The chili and cheese on the fries were cold and unmelted. Sorry no pictures. I did not even think about it because this place is normally on lock. Not on Halloween apparently. Don’t open in the morning if you don’t want to serve people. The manager needs to know my order was originally a lot bigger and I mean a lot bigger. I literally downloaded the Dennys app and ordered the additional food while sitting and waiting for under...

Plenty of food for a fair price, but REALLY bland. My partner and I ordered a plain 1/2 lb burger and another one with grilled onions. We got the combo for both which came with fries and a drink (unlimited free refills). The patties were thin and tasteless. The fries were plentiful but starchy and dry. The soda was good, and plenty of condiments/additions to choose from for your burger.

This place has many different options on the menu including Mexican food and plates for breakfast lunch and dinner. They should focus on a few good plates, rather than have a whole range of slop. No one in my group of 4 finished our food. We all needed to use the restroom immediately after and one felt sick in her stomach. I really have nothing to gain or lose from my honest review. This truly is just what we experienced and we’ll never come back here.

The establishment was clean on the inside with PLENTY of open seating and has two restrooms open for use secured with a code. They also play live TV which is nice. But overall the experience was awful. $23 for two combos of gross 1/2 lb burgers. You’re better off...

1 star is too high for this place. Walk in while the place was empty and order and I'm sitting there waiting for my food while watching everyone else who came in after me get there food. And I mean A LOT OF PEOPLE were getting there food and food similar to what I had ordered so there's no excuse of my food taking longer because of what I ordered. I ask what is taking so long and I was told that my food will be out soon. I finally asked what part of my food is taking so long and the girl behind the counter says "I don't know, it's the cooks". INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES! TO THE OWNERS OF THIS BURGER JOINT, look into your business. You are losing customers. I demanded my money back and left!...
