Mariscos Licenciado — Restaurant in Montclair

Worst service ever. The waitress with the fave butt didn't even greet us and was just sitting doing nothing. She got up and handed us the menu and asked us if we were ready to order. She didn't even wait for us to check out the menu. We ordered our drinks and asked for more time. 30secs passes and she came back asking if we were ready to order, we told her what we wanted and handed her the menus she grabbed them and just dropped them on the chair across from us. She brought my husband's order first and then after 10 mins she brought my taco ( a simple taco). Just left it there in the table almost throwing it. As we were eating our food we could see that she was just behind the counter doing her makeup with no care in the world. Never came back to ask if we needed anything or wanted anything We got up to pay and she came out and didn't even ask "how was the food?" "Didnt gaves is the check and just went ahead and charged us... I asked for the check and she gave me an attitude. My husband paid and she was waiting for him to give her a tip and I asked if I could speak to the manager and she said that they don't have a manager... I told her that she was rude and that she didn't deserve any tip and she said that she didn't need it.

We stopped to try this restaurant because my family and I like to go to small own restaurants to support but this is the first and last time...

Me and the wife decided to place a phone order for Valentine's Day to avoid having to wait and deal all the people that normally occurs on V day. I made the call and was immediately put on hold and the person on the other end never returned. after hanging up and trying to call back for over 30 minutes we finally gave up and just drove over. We waited for 20 minutes to be helped for an order to go.. the food was ok.. nothing special.. we ordered compechana cocktails, oysters, and diabla shrimp.. all to me which were very bland.. this coming from a guy who has eaten at many Mexican seafood restaurants ... will I go back.....

Every mariscos place to me must be judged on their fish tacos, and the verdict here is "pretty good."This place is just that, pretty good. From the service to the food, everything is pretty average. So I have no complaints if you're in the area and craving mariscos, you won't be disappointed. But if you only want the best, you'll have to look elsewhere. As always, the saddest thing of all is that there are no Pokemon or pokestops...
