the ladies behind the counter are just wonderful. Iāve started stopping by every once in a while for the last six or seven months and itās always a real delight to have a chat across the counter. made me one of the best lattes Iāve had here in the stateā¦Love emā but my folks in Nebraska just canāt get that same type of magic in the cup. girl with curly hair also made a 10/10 pour over. I wanted a light roast and she recommended the single origin beans from Colombia, glad I went with those. Iām hoping to stop by to buy a bag the next time theyāre in stock to share with my wife. Pricey for sure but most coffee joints are in the area. Not sure if Iām remembering yāallās names right..I donāt come in too often now. Was some questionable words iāve heard coming from the owner. donāt wanna repeat their comments word because I canāt remember the words exactlyā¦.Just makes you think about who your money is really goin to. Also orders have taken a while on busy days, baristas seem to do their best to get our drinks out nice n fast but thereās only so much 1-3 Folks behind the counter can do when the shop is packed..Keep that in mind if yāall are visiting on holidays. Overall would recommend if youāre lookinā for a tasty drink, sometimes with some neat latte art if youāre lucky. Keep doing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNoticed that this was deleted..! Interesting..! Horrible customer service ever. After placing my order, the espresso machine malfunctioned, you would think that they would tell all those that previously placed an order. But there was no communication. I observed the āleadā being rude and condescending to other customers. Then when I inquired about my order the āleadā was ornery and was insulted I even inquired, there was no apology for the delay, instead seemed like she was offended. Then when my order was ready, although we were the only groups left in the establishment, she chose to not communicate that my order which I waited for was ready, again no apology for the delay or even an acknowledgment. Then when I commented about about their lack of customer service she and the other employee were ridiculously rude. This place needs either a new āleadā our some serious customer service training. I have noticed that the owner only comments in the good service. I hope the owner reaches out to me because after reading other negative comments they either donāt care or chose to address or ignore negative comments because they really donāt care about their customer service or lack there off. I hope you,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreProbably the best coffee in Carmel (emphasis on "in Carmel"). If you are a bay area transplant and looking for a Blue Bottle alternative, try Acme in Seaside or Captain + Stoker in Monterey. That's where real coffee connoisseurs seem to flock. (I'm not a coffee expert.) One interesting factoid I found is the roasting facility is indeed in Carmel Valley but they have no storefront in the valley. Surprisingly, another local coffee shop is pretty much next door in the same shopping complex in the valley and they don't get the beans from this roastery. It would be literally few steps. Instead, they get it shipped from a roastery somewhere else. Speaking of fierce competition! In such a homely little rural town too! I wonder if this company used to have a coffee shop at the same spot where the other coffee shop is now operating. š¤ They don't get much business as there is no tourist traffic in the valley. The owners of this roastery seemed like an enterprising kind of couple so I'm guessing they felt the valley had no real market. After all, it's likely that most of Carmel residents have a top of the line Breville (or even a Simonelli) at home. The real business comes...
