I went in to Old Mexico with an open mind last weekend as it was the first time I'd ever eaten there. I was really hoping for a great experience with the other mexican restaurant next door being closed due to family illness.Old Mexico was fairly busy with a few big tables. They looked to have 3 or 4 waitresses I believe. I was seated after a few minutes of standing and waiting for the hostess to seat me. I sat at my table for a good 13 minutes getting passed by staff members and thought about walking out as I had yet to be served or asked what I would like to drink with my chips and salsa. My waitress seemed annoyed by me or something else from the get go which I thought was kind of rude. I ordered a large cheese dip, a coke to drink, seafood burrito, and refried beans. The bowls that the salsa came in were small and it was hard to scoop the salsa out and the chips were very hard(didn't seem fresh). The cheese dip was not warm at all and borderlined being on the cold side. I saw the seafood burrito on the menu and it honestly looked very delicious but what I got wasn't tasty and had a weird orange sauce on it unlike the picture on the menu with a nice red burrito sauce. The refried beans were good though. My overall service wasn't great and I had to ask for a refill from another staff member that wasn't my waitress when she walked by after 10 minutes or so waiting for my waitress to come and check on me. My waitress throughout the whole meal was not kind or personable which is honestly a shame. The restaurant was fairly warm inside which I understand to a point due to the Georgia heat and how big the restaurant itself is. I came in with a hope that my meal was going to be a knock out of the park but sadly it wasn't. I mulled over the events for a week trying to think of what I was going to write that would accurately describe my experience and I decided to not sugar coat my experience anc tell the truth point blank. I also looked up their food service score in a whim after eating there and found out it was a 78! That's not acceptable in my opinion and if I had known that before hand I would've eaten somewhere else. I also witnessed two ladies walk in and sit for 15 minutes with zero contact from wait staff get up and walk out displeased with the lack of service they received and didn't blame...

I first reserved it for 4:30, a day or two before I called at changed the Time to 5pm. I got there and my guest was there at 4:55! I played a whole game with my son before we presented him with his big prize! Well long story short no one never came to take our drink order, we never got a menu until I asked. At this time it was 6:49! I went and got menus and I passed them out to my guests. A lot of people never got their food! When we got there only two other ppls were there. The restaurant became full. Everybodyyyyy got their food before us! It was like we were begging these people to serve us. After the presentation We could have just left as we should have!!! If they couldn’t handled the crowd they should have told me before we reserved the spot. I don’t want to go back anymore. We ate around 8:10 The only thing the guy with the ear piece could say is go tell the guy and the girl who had our tables. The service was awful. I guess we will be taking our business elsewhere. Not the best attitudes and they wasn’t concerned. It was awful and my family and I attends a lot but I guess we will try the other one they said the food is great there! Also how can y’all always be arguing with guests who are paying all their money for poor services cold food and the prices has increased and food portion was small. Some guests had bills over 100$ and the service was straight awful. Think before u go!! ...
Read moreI decided to give y'all another try since you accomplished what you set out to do and that was run El Patron off and the choices are EXTREMELY limited in Montezuma when it comes to lunch options. This was the most EXPENSIVE lunch with this little food (that was edible but it sure wasn't the greatest) that I've had in a long time. And the fact that you have to spend over $13 to even get chips and salsa with your carryout is ridiculous. I had a Steak Taco Salad that cost me over $11 and of course that wasn't enough to get any chips and salsa. My coworker ordered the Seafood burrito and on the menu it shows that it comes with rice and beans but there wasn't any. She got the burrito (which was cold as well), a small cup of queso, and a Dr Pepper and her lunch was over $17.00, so of course she got chips and salsa. What she received for $17 was definitely not worth that much money in my opinion. The highlight was...
