Papa B's Wing Shack — Restaurant in Montgomery City

We honestly weren't expecting too much considering it's a small bar, but I have to say we will definitely be eating here again. The food was EXCELLENT. We got both the bourbon bacon cheddar chicken and the bourbon bacon cheddar burger and both were delicious. They put a lot of bacon on both, and the bacon was nice and crispy. Both the burger and the chicken were cooked and seasoned perfectly. We also got the loaded potato wedges. This place needs to teach ALL OTHER RESTAURANTS how to do potato wedges. They were nice and crispy, even with the toppings, and somehow they were still crispy even after we drove home with them. I don't know how they do that (probably magic). I loved the food, though it was a bit pricey. At the time of our visit, it was a smoking establishment, which made me wary because I had my children with me but they have since amended this issue and created a designated smoking area away from the main dining area. The service was Amazing! The chef, Vanessa, personally came out to ensure our food was acceptable, answered numerous questions, and even made polite conversations with our dining party and children (11/10 service). Rude service and lack of basic payment options. My husband forgot his wallet at home and I called to place a carry out order so he didn’t miss lunch. He works in town and we live about 15 minutes or so away. The woman who answered was pretty rude and informed me “Um we DONT do that”. I’ve never had this problem Dairy mart, pizza places, any other restaurants that let you order carry out let you pay by running your bank card over the phone, it only requires typing in the card number she simply did not want to.
