Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Montgomery

Upon arriving we weren't notified of any chicken depletion. Once we ordered, I had my 6 year old daughter with me, we were told that her chicken would take 8 minutes. I ordered spicy chicken, paid, and went and sat down to wait on our food. Four people ordered after me, then 15 minutes later I hear, "15 minutes on spicy chicken"! No one said, "sir, there's a wait on your chicken, would you like something else?" Or anything reaffirming that we were being taken care of. Well around this time the regular chicken was ready. A couple of people that ordered after me got their food. They left, then a short while after, I observed the woman that took my order prioritize a 4 piece spicy wing combo ahead of mine by pulling it from the grease early. I have no doubt in her ability to "eyeball" chicken for doneness, heck, we all can; however, if you can get her 4 pieces, then you can get me 3. On top of everything, my daughter, a kids meal, always and should always take considerable priority over an adult entree. That's food service 101. So finally after a grand total of waiting 30 minutes for my food, I was routinely served as if I just got there and ordered, no comps or apologies. Just don’t. I would rather miss a meal than eat here.This location is ridiculous. The employees are rude and don’t even know what’s going on. I can’t imagine if they were actually busy. Accidentally chose this location through the app, only ate here one other time and it was just as disappointing. Placed an online order pulled up and was told we needed to come inside because they are short staffed. Nobody else was in the drive thru line and no customers inside when we went in, no idea why we needed to park and come inside when we were the only customers. Gave my name again, they couldn’t find my order at first so it never got prepared. Not a surprise since the employees were on their phones and carrying on loud inappropriate conversations with each other. Ordered and paid for large fry was given cold fries in a small box. Biscuit was old, cold, and gross couldn’t even eat it. Had to ask for my cups twice, lady just stared at me both times. My husbands sandwich had an old hard bun he couldn’t even eat it. The red beans and rice were watery and flavorless, usually one of our favorite sides. One customer walked in while we were waiting again nobody greeted or acknowledged him. These employees are so rude they really shouldn’t be working in customer service. The store was dirty and gross just like the employees. Popeye's, 876 East Dr, Montgomery, AL 36117 We love Popeye's but are very disappointed in the service we received at this restaurant tonight. Today, we went thru the drive thru. The girl taking our order talked as though she just learned the English language although she is American. Our order was simple a Number 2 all mild legs, mashed potatoes and a Number 2, three spicy breast, mashed potatoes and coke with both orders. And, two apple fried pies. When we got home and opened our order...received the spicy breast order, pies and cokes. I have tried to call the number on the receipt to report the error, however, they will not answer the phone and their voice mail has not been set up. Since we live several miles from the restaurant we did not want to drive back get the order corrected. If they had been extremely busy, you might cut them some slack, but there was only one car in front of us and one behind us. So this was not the case. We also noticed that the girl did not respond when my husband, thanked her at the order window or the pickup window. There is not excuse for this type of attitude or for making this kind of mistake.
