My husband and I visit Waffle House quit often. We understand new servers are being trained. But Prattville, Business park location James was " training" Keya BUT when HE doesn't do his job correctly HOW can he TRAIN someone else?? My husband always wants ALL of his food on 1 plate. He tells the server this when he orders, but only gets it back the way the server calls it out to the cook. On our last visit Keya was training, she was lost as to what to do or where things were located. I stead of asking she just ignored customers. James called out her order to the cook. My husband ordered I waffle 3 scrambled eggs hash browns toast and grits. NO grits! And NO Waffle! When my husband asked about the grits James told him he could get him a bowl. I told James he doesn't want a bowl just put EVERYTHING O TO 1 PLATE! James looked at me like he was agitated with us.......MY FOOD DID NOT COME SOON after. My husband was half way thru his food ....I HAD TO ASK WHERE WAS MY FOOD? Keya told me" it was coming" I told her I would like to have my food at the same time, she just walked away and she did not check to see why my food wasn't ready. ( it was waiting to be picked up on the side of the grill) I called James over and asked him where was my food?? He looked over at the grill and found my food, brought it to me. This visit makes me NOT want to visit this location again Also a family of 6 came in and sat in the booth next to the bar. Instead of James taking everyone's order the 1 lady at the bar was told she had to wait for the server assigned to that area. He was not allowed to server..... WHAT...
Read moreWent into restaurant Wilson Ave Wetumpka and first it was so small and no mask used by employees. Second when we ordered the cashier seemed as if she was a little lost on prices. Then...she said she had to go get the cook. This little squirt a female came walking in and proceeded to go into a box I guess small freezer about 3 to 4 ft from grill and she throw my porkchops on grill. Like literally they sailed through the air like horseshoes. Me and my son WHO IS A CHEF..looked at each other almost at the same time. We were standing at the counter by cashier and christmas tree that needed Jesus. But anyway the cashier said do you want something to drink anything else..remember we already ordered and paid. I said I would have not liked my food tossed like that. The girl who was cooking said something under her breathe. Cashier walked towards counter in front of grill. The girl turned about a gave a short stare at cashier. I guess they both thought it was funny until I said. I want my money back. We left out. Just imagine the meat missed the grill and landed on floor...and we did not see it or it was take out we needed to pickup. No one would know it hit the floor. Very rude, disrespectful and unsanitary. Again no mask. As I walked out I said Waffle house in Atlanta have decorum. The other person there said oh you from Atl. I said yes my son said no. Good news we found another one who was right down the road. Do not eat there unless you watch them cook, they use gloves and tiny tot not working. She was a...
Read moreThis review is after my 2nd bad experience with this location in as many weeks. 1st time - Google said they had done in available, they do not. Ordered an All-star, eggs scrambled w/ cheese. Sausage, bacon, and hash browns. Waffle, dark. I can't stand a chewy waffle. The order was fine, the cashier was not. Major attitude when I asked for a second packet of syrup. 2nd time - ordered over the phone since I found out the hard way that they won't let you dine in. Same order as last time, only difference is I asked for a chocolate chip waffle. The problem this time was again, my waffle was too under cooked for my liking, no chocolate chips, and to top it all off, a reddish/brown hair was in it. All of this I discovered once I was back home and ready to eat. I don't want anything else from this location...
