The overall experience was great. The Marina was one of the nicer ones we've been to in KY thus far. Beautiful view of the sunset. The restaurant was very clean and had an amazing view of the sunset as well. It was also stunning from the top deck seating area. The food was very good, not great. Nothing was wrong with the food, but it wasn't a "Wow, let's go eat (insert whatever here) again." Big portions, and everything was fresh and hot. The Marina deck was very well maintained with rocking chairs and nice benches to sit on. You could play cornhole and a few other games while taking in the views. We didn't rent a pontoon boat, but we definitely will be doing that next summer. They were very well maintained, and the prices for a daily rental were quite reasonable. We didn't go into the gift shop/convenience store, but from the outside, it was huge. If a full sit-down meal isn't your thing, they had a snack bar you could order from, as well. There are so many things I've not mentioned. I suggest everyone go there and experience this wonderful Marina...

The view and atmosphere is spot on for a wonderful backdrop for a nice dinner with family&friends. The menu has a wide variety of choices to appeal to almost anyone, but for the price on their steaks I was expecting something less watered down and more flavor. For the same price the local Texas roadhouse has a 32oz porterhouse that is a better cut, with more flavor any day of the week compared to "the boat house". The servers we sluggish for most of our meal with refills on drinks or food out on time but when it came toward the end of our meal and the end of their night they were excessively pushy to get us to cash out our check and be done but forgetful on getting us To-go containers so we could cash out our check having to ask 3 seperate times. I would recommend this place but with the realistic expectation that it's not quite at the quality that their menu prices are asking, you are more paying for the...

First let me say, the service was great and the views were wonderful. The restaurant itself was clean. We came in for dinner after a storm so we were the only people dining. We had the “large” pretzel appetizer which ended up being not very large so we also added an order of the pulled pork nachos. Both were decent but nothing to write home about. My kids ordered the Mac n cheese, fries, grilled cheese and pizza. The pizza looked like a mini pan pizza you’d get in the school cafeteria. There was a thick layer of cheese and very little sauce. The chicken tenders also looked like they were from school cafeteria. I had the salmon which was decent though a bit dry. Overall we spent $100 and and felt the food was mediocre at best. It reminded me of the frozen food you’d get from a pool concession stand. The menu sounded so good so I really had high hopes but we’d been better off ordering pizza or...

The servers exude warmth and was courteous, setting the tone for an enjoyable evening. As plates adorned with exquisitely presented dishes arrive at the table, anticipation builds as each dish looks like a work of art. However, despite the visual appeal, the taste falls slightly short of expectations. While not unpleasant, there's a subtle underwhelming quality to the flavors, leaving one wishing for that extra spark of culinary brilliance. Nonetheless, it's not enough to deem the meal unsatisfactory; it just lacks that wow factor to elevate it to the realm of exceptional dining. Overall, a pleasant dining experience that's worth a visit for the ambiance and service alone, but falls short of being truly outstanding due to the slight mismatch between visual allure and taste satisfaction.

We asked for outdoor seating and were told it would be about a 20–30 minute wait. Gave our number, but after checking back around the 45-minute mark, we found out it had been erased and we never got a call. Mistakes happen, but it was a little disappointing. On the bright side, the food was tasty—even though they were out of the pineapple bowl, they served the fixings and it still hit the spot. The view of the sunset was beautiful, and our waitress was kind and attentive, which definitely helped make up for the rocky start. Overall, a good experience once we were seated, but a little more organization at the front could make it even better.
