Homemade Donuts — Restaurant in Moore

Right when you walk into this small adorable donut shop you can tell that they put all their heart and time into what matters most to them (their donuts and their customers) You are always greeted with a genuine smile and a happy worker every time. The first time I went to the donut shop was by accident... I was waiting for a convenience store next door to open early one morning. I looked over and thought, "Oh, great.... Just what Moore needs.... another DONUT SHOP! Ucckkk!!" I also had a giggle at their name.... "homemade donuts"....

Well, I could just not help but laugh at myself when I got home and couldn't stop eating the damn donuts. I don't even LIKE donuts that much. I mostly got them for my son and my husband... and my youngest daughter who is two that like anything with sugar of course.

If you are in the area of South Santa Fe... make the unplanned trip. You wont regret it.

Oh.. and they also have meats.... (As in, kolaces ??? or however that type of donut and meat type of food is spelled.. ?! and sausage and biscuits...

#1. They messed up my fathers order, so we had came back, and we were asked “so you changed your mind?” And I said “No, I read you off what he wanted”. they took the donuts back behind the counter, which is very unsanitary, you’re never supposed to take food back over the counter, that was already sent to a person(s) house. #2 somehow it was my fault even though I literally read off what my father wanted. My father had called to let the owner know what he wanted to repeat himself multiple times on the phone, with what he was supposed to get and I guess maybe they didn’t understand, but they had to make 2 new boxes of donuts, which the first one presented was literally the same as I brought back to him, the second one was right and supposed to get in the first place. My family and I used to love this place, but after seeing them take donuts back over the counter, we definitely won’t be returning here anymore. Unsanitary, and it’s somehow gonna be the customers fault regardless even if they were the ones...

I recently visited Homemade Donut and it was a delightful experience. I tried their glazed donut holes and an assortment of their donuts, and they were all incredibly delicious. The donut holes were perfectly bite-sized and had a wonderful glaze that added just the right amount of sweetness.
