Grillin' Time Diner — Restaurant in Moorefield

Never Again!! My wife and I ate there tonight April 22nd, I ordered the pretzel appetizer, hard as a rock, broke my tooth on it, told my waiter, (who was a really young kid), and his response was, “sorry about that, can I get you anything else”. I WAS DONE with this restaurant at this point. But anyway, I’m here might as well order an entrée, while I was ordering my entrée, the waiter left the table because somebody’s ice tea wasn’t sweet enough. I consider that Rude leaving me to attend to another customer in the middle of my order. I got the haddock with green beans and mashed potatoes and gravy, while my wife ordered The Maryland crab cake with onion rings. The fish was Horrible, wouldn’t feed it to my cat. Potatoes were good, the beans were alright. Crab cake was good. Onion rings were watery.

Horrible Experience, Definitely not...

Service was good food was terrible we ordered a blooming onion it was over cooked and tasted of old grease I ordered the ribeye cooked medium it was well done and had zero flavor the baked potato wasn’t done and the salad was a joke. My husband ordered the country fried steak he ate maybe 3 bites he said the mashed potatoes were ok and his Mac and cheese was barely warm had to be the worst meal we have ever ordered and not eaten we took the steak home for the dogs I do not recommend wasting you money pulling into the restaurant it smells so good it was literally the worst food ever and they didn’t seem to care. The owner was such a nice man, talked to us a lot when we arrived and also told us the kids could have free ice cream but the food we ordered was terrible aside from the steak wrap, we ate outside and had to go in and get napkins after several times of asking our waitress, as for anything else we asked for it was a long wait before getting it. Then when we received our bill there was an extra 14.99 charge and we was told it was a tip for the owner?
