Medley's Diner — Restaurant in Morrison

Best burger around! I've liked just about everything else I've had here as well. I usually get chicken tenders which are fantastic. Fried squash is a favorite side. Coffee is very good, perfect if you drink it black, always fresh and not bitter. We liked it so much we found out what they were using and started buying it ourselves online (which was the only place we could find it). Gets pretty crowded sometimes (because they are so consistently great), especially on Sunday. In my experience it’s been better to go through the line when it’s busy if you don’t want to wait for very long. That’s usually what I do anyway. Service is super friendly. Prices are really low, especially considering portion size. Soft serve ice cream flavors are fun, especially for kids. Owners are wonderful, kind, hard-working, happy, friendly, caring people. Next to eating at home or with family, this is one of the most warm and welcoming places I ever go. This is what every meat and three restaurant should strive to be.

And breakfast...

Ate there for the first yesterday, the food and the price was excellent. We had breakfast, our waitress was a little cool at first, but then she warmed up a little. I figure everyone is entitled to one bad moment, other wise i would have given 5 stars. The other staff members were all very nice. Definitely will go back. Been back several times since and it has been great. You can't beat their omelets and their prices. Their portions are good also. Had their grilled chicken salad and i couldn't finish it there was so much and you didn't have to look for the chicken. We can't eat carbs right now or i would be doing the meat plus 3, every time we go i check it out and the food looks great and they give good portions on that also. Definitely go here if you...

This place was PACKED at lunch. After an appointment, we came back by and thought we'd give it a try. It's a family owned business and the staff was VERY sweet. It was 1½ hrs from closing so the counter lunch had been sitting out for awhile. Perhaps the timing wasn't the best evaluation of their food. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. They offered salmon patties and fried chicken, both of which had been over cooked and was extremely dried out under the warmers. We really wanted to love this place just because they offered great service and were so kind. Perhaps we will time it better next time and the food...
