Knead Donuts — Restaurant in Morristown

I haven't actually been inside this little treasure of breakfast goodies, but I have been fortunate to have had someone think of me on two separate occassions when they visited Knead on a Sunday morning. My niece woke me a couple of Sunday's ago and excitedly told me she had a surprise for me...it was a Tiramisu donut!!! OMG! It was DELICIOUS! Never have I had such a donut as this. The outside had a tinge of fried crispness as I bit into the fluffiest donut I had ever had the experience of doing. Honestly, if the donut had had no icing on it, it would have still been the best donut I have eaten (and I consider myself a donut connoisseur) but it did have icing and it captured the taste of Tiramisu entirely ...all the way to the espresso beans that topped off the whip cream ! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would and I have never done that...it was just that good! I will definitely be visiting KNEAD soon so I can indulge myself in more than one of these donut masterpieces and try...

Knead Donuts opens up at 7 am I believe, and we arrived closer to 10 am. By that time, a noticeable amount of donuts were gone already but there was still a big variety of options. The small diner was constantly busy with hungry customer's coming and going and chatting it up with the front desk workers, that definitely speaks for the donuts and the friendly neighborhood vibe.

We ordered their Apple Fritter donut, Blueberry, Chocolate, and their Pig in A Blanket ($3.50) with cheese. All looked delicious, but I had the delicious apple fritter donut. I wanted something a bit more solid for lunch, so I also ordered their Monster Croissant ($8.50) and it was dynamite. It came with ham, sausage, bacon, 2 eggs and cheese. Absolutely filling. I got a bite of the Pig In A Blanket, and that was great too. Prices were really reasonable for everything, with the donuts being under $2/donut.

Loved this little donut shop, would totally go back next time we're visiting family...

They were in Bristol Tn today and I stopped by and they were sold out and getting ready to leave. They are so friendly! they gave me some donut holes, a cinnamon roll and a apple fritter, and they were the best I have ever had! I offered to pay and they would not take my money. If you see this food truck in your area, you have to stop and get some of their amazing donuts! I can't say enough about how delicious they are! Please come to Bristol and open a store we are in need of a fantastic donut shop!!!!!! Thank you so much for being so kind! You and your family are proof that great people still exist!
