Mi Azteca Mexican grill — Restaurant in Morristown

I'm giving 1 star because it won't let me give a 0! I had high hopes for this place and boy I was shocked! The salsa they brought out with the chips was over seasoned with salt and cilantro! Way too much! My food wasn't hot enough to melt the cheese in the enchilada. No cheese sauce. No seasoning in the beef and the chicken was as dry as the desert! My husband's meal was a combination Fajita and the steak and chicken wasnt sliced up , they didn't bring out his tortillas for the meal. Was supossed to also have ribs on the plate and they put a crumbled up hamburger that was disgusting! The meal was awful! I do not recommend this place at all! Save your money or go to Taco Bell. If that doesn't tell u how bad it is...

Sunday afternoon....3 different patrons present.....not busy at all....my wife and I waited 1 hour to be served...my dish was incorrect, nearly room temperature....my wife's dish was made wrong.....what the server obviously did not understand that he is the liason between the customer and the kitchen....not once did he let us know that there would be a delay in receiving our food or check it before placing the dish in front of us. No offer to comp for the inconvenience and mistakes. We most likely will not return.

So, one month later, we give this establishment another opportunity. The portions were much smaller and lacking flavor. It's settled. There will be no more visits...

The huevos rancheros had a pool of sauce on them, which we didn't like. The chile rellenos were similar. The salsa tasted great but was not blended... it was full of huge pieces of tomato which made it hard to scoop with chips. They got my order wrong then had to come back again and ask what side I wanted. By the time I got it, everyone else was almost done. The soda machine was messed up and the drinks had almost no flavor... they took them back and made it better. I also had to track down the waitress to give her my card because she forgot to come back for it. They also didn't bring the free chips and salsa...
