Anchor Deli — Restaurant in Moultonborough

Went in to the deli for some food, and ended up waiting for French fries. I parked my car at pump number 1. As I’m waiting for my French fries the manager Bob Comes over and asks if my car is broken because it needs to be moved I can’t just let it sit there. Mind you there is no one else at the 12 pumps. I go up to the register after getting17$ worth of food ready to get gas and asked bob why did he need me to move he said I was there for a while, and I said I was maybe there for six minutes 7 tops. and Brandon the register said longer than that and I said then how long was I there for? He didn’t respond. And I was gonna get gas but took my business elsewhere after that very disrespectful incident. I will be taking my business elsewhere as bob ruined the experience , and I’ve been coming...

There was only 1 person working, in the afternoon - in order to run the store efficiently and the food counter as well, you should have 2 people working. I know times are tough and run my own business, but there is a miss here for potential, especially because there isnt much around. You had a great hot food area, with no one working -so- the lady had to "double duty" from her position at the gas station as well.

The real problem for me was the raw chicken in my salad, after I had consumed a large amount of the salad while we stopped quickly on our road trip. Your prices were not exactly cheap either, so I imagine you can understand my dissatisfied review.

This is in response to the reviewer who gave the store 1 star because "staff is always sitting behind the register"....seriously????? The staff here are friendly, helpful, and attentive. I appreciate a business that cares about the comfort of its employees enough to provide a place to sit in between customers. It is very difficult to stand all day for hours at a time! Every single time I have been in this store, as soon as I walk through the door, if the cashier is sitting he gets up immediately and remains standing until I leave.
