The Boro Baking Co — Restaurant in Moultonborough

Came in on a Saturday morning with very high hopes. The place was packed and they were managing the line the quite well. To no fault of their own, the place was so loud that I had to shout my order which was unpleasant. Was told there would be a 10 minute wait for my food, which was fine, but it ended up taking closer to 25 minutes to get a breakfast burrito (which wasn't great), and the Adam Toast, which was soggy, had almost no avocado on it, and was almost entirely covered in onions and lacking the other toppings. The Iced Chai I had was great, but it was genuinely 90% ice. The employees were clearly quite overwhelmed with the crowd, but they were incredibly rude (they were all either in their very early 20s, or teenagers). The food was great, especially the turkey blt wrap I had. The pastries are also delicious. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars was because they told me 30minute wait, and I waited over an hour for my food. Meanwhile people after me were getting their orders. I finally asked them to check on my order and come to find out, it had been in a bag on the counter for at least 20 minutes. They said they called my name but I had been sitting inside for all but 10minutes of my waiting time. So when I was finally able to enjoy my food & bring it back to my family, it was a bit cold&soggy. Had I had gotten it right away like I was intended I know it would've been perfect. My sister in law Shirley which lives down the street from Boro brought 2 of just about every pastry from Boro to a family gathering at my son’s house in Peabody Ma. There was nothing but WOW’S & I can’t believe how great these pastries are. There so fresh and home made with love & delicious, I can’t believe how amazingly delicious they are. They are the very best we have ever had. Thank you Boro Pastries you are the BEST Bakery we have ever had. Also Thank Shirley for thinking of bring $200.00 worth of delicious pastries to our going away party for my son Andrew & son in law Andres.
