Red Owl Coffee Company — Restaurant in Moultrie

Oh My Goodness! I have to spread the good news!!! My husband and I are frequent fliers in Red Owl at the Colquitt Regional Hospital. The baristas work in both locations in Moultrie, GA (just to be clear no location is better than the other). We go to the one at Colquitt Regional Hospital more frequent because My husband works at the hospital.

My husband and I have "our barista". We used to refer to him as 'Our Guy's, then Our Guy did something only God can explain. We walked in one day and asked my husband asked Our Guy, "Can you make my wife something unique but strong?" Let me tell you, Our Guy earned a magnífico name that day...Merlin. I cannot tell anyone the exact mix, but it is house and dark blend drip with two shots of espresso. When the coffee reaches the back of your mouth, you get a mix of nutty and fruity flavor with that espresso punch. Perfect for a long day/night or just to get a boost of energy. We began calling it 'Merlin's Potion's, however, today, Merlin, himself, changed the name to 'Wizard's Brew'. We have thought of 'Merlin's Magic's, 'Cauldron Bubble's, 'Tackling Fuel', so many names, but Merlin's adds that "it" touch. We do not know Merlin's real name, however, if you see a young man with the most positive energy and makes drinks, out-of-this-world, it's 90% Merlin!

All of the baristas are amazing! They can makes mixes, drinks, and serve like no other coffee shop. When we see Merlin, we KNOW whatever potion, elixir, bubbly he creates, makes, and shakes is going to be the most AWESOME...

The coffee can be a little inconsistent. Sometimes the drinks are good and other times the drinks are too sweet. This last time the drinks were so sweet my husband and I couldn't even finish half of it. We had to throw them away because the drinks were making us sick. The staff are very nice and the service is very good but the inconsistency of how the drinks are made is...
