Hardee’s — Restaurant in Mount Airy

Food was good,I was there on a Sunday morning,it was busy,full dinning room,,they had one register going and an elderly lady on it,she was doing the best she could but people we're backed up waiting on the food,,the manager who was very loud,kept yelling at this poor woman and was telling her to do all sorts of different things but then when she went to get a hash brown for a customer the manager jumped on her for that,told her you take the orders,we will get them,the woman told the manager that the customer had been waiting for a long time and she didn't mind,but she still got mouthed off to by this manager.I was there for sometime working on some stuff for my job and this manager got into a big argument with a customer in drive thru,continued yelling out orders for her crew and while her and 2 other crew members were standing in front of the biscuits a customer came up to the counter and in stead of helping him she yelled out into the dining room for the cashier to come help him after the manager had just sent her out to clean the drink station and get trays,,,after awhile of watching and listening every one in the dining room was talking about how rude and mean and loud this manager was,,,one lady had enough of watching the abuse and went up there and told her so,,a few applauded her as she left but that did not stop the mouth on the manager who's focus was now on this woman who told her off and I wish the woman would have stuck around to hear what was said,,all of us still in the dining...

First off I want to say I'm not a "Karen". My cousin went. I had a coupon for a chicken sandwich.i ordered it, medium Dr Pepper and a peach pie. The cashier asked if I wanted a combo, I said no. She brought our meals in paper bags. I opened mine and there was French Fries. I went to reg and told her she gave me fries and charged me when I didn't order. I reminded her that she asked if I wanted a combo and I had said no. She went to get the Mgr and the first thing she said was she didn't appreciate my being rude to the cashier. I said I wasn't. She then started with a calculator said she head to figure the difference and threw a dollar down. I said it was 2.19 for the fries, at that this so called Mgr leaned over and yelled at me "leaned over the counter and said so you want it all back" I said i was charged 2.19 for them and i want it back, i then said boy corporate is going to hear about this. Worst Hardee’s I have visited. The young manager was lacking Customer Service skills to the point of being almost rude. I ordered and paid for my food but was supposed to get a free dessert biscuit that cost a dollar. When I got to my table I discovered it was not in the bag. Once the manager on duty said he would not honor the free item on the Hardee’s app I asked for a refund. Instead of going ahead and honoring the free item he did he give me a refund then had to throw my order in the garbage. Having an extensive background in retail this made no business sense to me. I left and went to the Hardee’s on Rockford Street in Mt Airy where they were more than happy to honor the item on the app and apologized for the way the Pine Street location handled it. If you’re in the Mt Airy NC area and want Hardee’s I highly recommend avoiding the Pine Street location and just go to Rockford...
