Taco Tierra of Mt. Carmel — Restaurant in Mount Carmel

I have been eating at Taco Tierra for over 40 years. You cannot beat the taste of they're sancho's. But pretty much every item is very good. I met the owner when I was a teenager when he open his 2 or 3rd restaurant in Princeton, IN. I was hooked from the very first time I ate there. I eat there once a week if not more often if I get the chance. I highly recommend this place to everyone. By the way the owner is a pretty good guy so it's just another reason to support this place. But be prepared for a long line if you go through drive through. You won't have to wait long though because Mt. Carmel has the best workers and they are very good...

Mike, The food is always very excellent and great. Service is top notch. I have been going there many years and enjoy the experience more every time I go. I usually do the drive through. Went to drive thru last Friday evening. My husband ordered soft tacos with beef and I ordered soft tacos with chicken. Very disappointed with the chicken tacos. Most of the chicken was burnt and dry. Could not even chew it. It was mixed with chicken that was not burnt. Why would you serve burnt chicken? I had to pick off the burnt chicken and throw it away. What a waste of money. Won't be returning anytime soon. There was another time before this one that we got soft beef tacos and they were so greasy the paper was soaked...
