I don't think I will recommend this place to anyone. When we were seated, we were given chips and salsa. I mentioned to the waitress that the salsa they brought with the chips was hot. She told me if I wanted mild salsa, there was a charge for it. Then, as I was looking through the menu, I noticed they actually have right there on the menu that they charge $1.00 for two lemon wedges! I have NEVER seen this on a menu and it just screamed, "The owners are cheap!" I should have left then. They have no children's menu. I ordered a steak chimi meal. When it arrived (on a plastic plate) the beans were grey and under seasoned. The steak inside my chimi was grey too. It tasted and looked like it was boiled and the taste of cumin was overpowering. The chimis themselves were pretty greasy too. The meal was $9 ($10 if you include the side of sour cream) and I ended up throwing it away. All in all, the food was awful and overpriced. Seriously, charging for mild salsa and lemon wedges?! You might be able to get away with that non-sense if your food was good, but it is subpar at best. I recommend you...

Well let’s just say I was Soooo excited to find a little place close to home! And got the wind let out of my sail on this one..the chimichanga “brown gravy” was extra $ which I didn’t realize they don’t automatically put some kind of sauce on…(most restaurants do) and she probably should have asked if I’d like it wet or dry..so I had to drive back to get some “brown gravy” and came home to realize it was thick coney dog chili…..not a typical authentic Mexican brown sauce/gravy…pretty much ruined my whole $20 dish “lunch” at that.. The guacamole was extremely overpriced and not very fresh at all…Rice was dry as a cracker & the beans were actually ok..this is not authentic fresh Mexican food in my opinion. I always want to support small business but I also want good food and to feel the appreciation for my patronage and the lady serving take out was the cherry on top of my disappointed visit..she was far from friendly…. Won’t be returning! I’ll take the drive for the real deal over at...

Waste of money in my opinion. I ordered 2 fajita dinners and it came to $32. If I received $32 worth of food, I wouldn’t even be mad. Each dinner came with approximately 10 tiny slices of protein (one order was chicken, one was steak). This made about 2 tacos out of each dinner. So for $32 dollars, we got what came out to 4 tacos and two tiny sides of rice and beans. The rice wasn’t even good. Tasted like something that would come out of a high school cafeteria. The steak was also very tough and chewy. I bit into it and it pulled everything out of the shell. Paco’s staff, if you read this you should be ashamed. Gus’s Coney Island makes better fajitas and it’s a frickin Coney Island, not a Mexican restaurant. Will not be patronizing pacos again. The one bright spot to the experience was the young lady working the cash register. She was very polite and seemed genuinely appreciative of...

Our go-to family owned Mexican restaurant for nearly 50 years. It’s in a residential area on Crocker and does come with limited parking. I live in the South with plenty of authentic mom and pop options, but this is my favorite and a must stop every time we visit Michigan. Try the Paco’s original meat and bean burrito. Started out sharing one with my brother as a child and have graduated to gorging on two in the last several years. It’s cash only, but the prices are very reasonable for the portion size, chips, and salsa. My two original burritos and chips pictured are only $10. Yum!

It's not what it used to be, just to give you an idea, so I ordered the fajita burritos for $18.75 combo chicken and steak, have you ever gone to Sam's club and bought the pre-cooked and prepackaged fajita chicken and fajita steak meat? That's exactly what they served me it was the same thing I make at home for a whole lot less than $18.75 a plate. The food at best was okay service was fantastic atmosphere was nice but I expected more for what I paid. If you do go the shredded chicken was good the beef was good and stick with the chimichanga or something safe.

Pretty good food. Attentive service. American-Mexican, so not truly authentic (but it was good). I had the natchos which were really good and the friend had a breakfast dish. Complaints: Granted, it was freezing outside, but so was it inside. Everyone was layered up. That particular day as well, no mexican music was playing, just atypical radio stations SMH. Also the parking situation is not ideal. Can't beat it for the price though. 6/10 recommend.
