Looking at it from the outside and judging by the name of the restaurant, this is not a place in which I would have much interest. An old bygone piece of Americana for the most part. I do not see a place like this thriving except in small town America.

What is interesting, is the constant crowd. Virtually every time I have been by this place there is always a crowd. The place is small, parking is mostly nonexistent but it is packed. I have been in twice, once I just had a soda while my companions ate and another time I thought I would order a burger. It was not a gourmet burger by any standard but it was not a pile of grease (something I feared). It was tasty. The fries are standard frozen fries but whomever prepared them, knows how to prepare them keeping a decent crunch in the fries. I have heard the shakes are good but unfortunately I have...

Outstanding little "old school" "drive up restaurant"!!!!! No "fast food" here..... Everything made fresh to order!!!!!

The cheeseburger ranked up there amongst the best. Cooked just right, quality beef, grilled onions carmelized perfectly! A bun that didn't overwhelm the taste of the burger.

The fries were great - fresh and hot, with a nice crispy exterior, and the serving was huge!

A really really good butterscotch shake! Not too thin or too thick. Great butterscotch flavor.

Donna's fish sandwich was also quite good. Not overly breaded, good tasting fish with a nice crispness to the coating.

This place is GREAT!!!!! Classic Americana food, cooked and served well, reasonable prices... All in a setting that evokes the past.

Long time customer who sees big quality changes.

Stopped while traveling and was disappointed in Our meal.

I bought a catfish basket. The catfish was much smaller than years past. It looked nice but it had a darker stripe on two strips.

I noticed the fish had little corn meal on them.

After eating them I noticed they tasted like mud.

I can honestly say I never had fish from them like this before.

Everybody's fries were limp and nasty tasting.

Fried mushrooms were actually good although the ranch container is small.

My hushpupies were good but tiny I'm size.

I was given slaw and tomatoes but no utensils. Do you drink it?

No napkins provided in either bag.

Had to ask for ketchup.
