I reccomend this place over all the pizza places here in Mount Pleasant! Today was my first taste of Cottage Inn Pizza and breadsticks. My first impression oddly enough, was the awesome, bright orange of the boxes that held the food. What caught my attention next was the cream cheese garlic dip. This new dip was unheard of to me and boy did it taste fantastic! If you're not really into an overload of real garlic, it's not for you. Some other great thing I truly appreciated about their food was the softness of the breadsticks and the pizza crust. For me, the softness was pillowy enough for sensitive teeth (or no teeth, depending on the person) but yet still had enough structure in the dough to not be flimsy and gross. Their marinara sauce was just the right hint of sour versus sweet which I loved. But, my two favorite parts of this meal of pizza and breadsticks was the cheese they used for the pizza and the taste of the crust! Now, since I am new to this place I am not sure what type of cheese they use yet or how they make their pizzas. The cheese was sweet and smokey and the crusty had this mouth watering fire grilled taste to it that made me want to cry (in a good way lol)...not going to lie here. (Yes, I'm weird like that but this food was the best I've had since I moved to Mount Pleasant!) I do wish I had taken a photo of it beforeI dug in though. There's...
Read moreDisclaimer: Ive only tried the sandwiches.
I've only had delivery so far and they've always been on time thus far, so I really appreciate their effort.
I have tried 3 sandwiches:
Philly Steak Supreme: Pretty decent. I like the flavor of the meat and the pepperoncini. I think they could probably add more flavor to the mushroom and bell pepper, but still it tastes good with the included side of ranch.
Chicken Parmesan Sub: Cannot recommend it. The red sauce they use is too sweet. The cheese blend is not bad. The chicken unfortunately just seems like deep fried nuggets, so it seems to be slapped together very quickly (sauce, chicken, and cheese); the nuggets don't have a bad taste, but the red sauce they use ruins it for me. Could be cheaper if it's just 4 ingredients.
Cottage Inn Club Sub: If you ask for extra mustard, this is a really nice sandwich when warm. Actually it's almost like any sandwich u can make at home, but the 1 foot is just nice for when you're lazy and want something simple (probably best with a coupon).
I do feel that, for the time invested in these meals (some of these can be slapped together in less than 5 mins), the prices could be a little cheaper.
Ideally I'd...

This time they got it right, mostly! We got two small pizzas, one pepperoni/mushroom the other jalapeño/pineapple for $12.99. The only thing they messed up was trying to charge us $16 for the $12.99 special. How us ordering it online and it not going through the computer system is beyond me.
Overall, the pizzas tasted great. This time, we ordered at 4pm, so there was no rush or other orders holding them back. The pizzas were well-made and well-seasoned, especially the everything crust. But because of past fails, I can't give this higher than three stars.
Update, 8/16:
Another fail. My girlfriend and I ordered two separate pizzas. Hers was a regular thin-crust light-cheese pizza with two toppings. Of course, they make it a thick crust (how do you mix those two up???) with regular cheese. So for the third time in a row, I have to sit and wait while they remake her pizza, making mine sit another 10 minutes.
I've yet to have a fresh pizza from Cottage Inn because they've had to remake her pizza every...
