McDonald's — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

This is by far the worst McDonald's I have EVER been to. Every time I go I have to pull up from the drive thru and wait for an extended period of time. I've been through the drive thru 4 times and only one time I have received the right order. All four times I had to pull up. One time there was no one even behind me. I haven't been there because of this in over a year. So finally yesterday I went with a co-worker and her kids before a school event. They really wanted McDonald's and it was the only thing close enough with the time we had. We get there and theres a lady buying 5 or 6 gift cards. There had all these people and the line was out the door. Some of them were just standing around. Finally after about 5 minutes they attempted to open another register. Then it took an extended amount of time to even get our order which was mostly chicken nuggets and fries. It took so long the cleared the drive thru at least 3 times and that is saying something for this McDonald's. I would say the whole process took at least 15 to 29 minutes. So above were it states people use spend 15 minutes here it's referring to the duration that wait for their food when one person is in front of them. If you're in the back of the line good luck. Not one person apologizes or even recognizes this is an inconvenience, because sadly it is the norm. I understand sometimes this happens, but ask anyone who has been to this specific one they will tell you the same thing. Moral of the story- Go somewhere else even if you want McDonald's and drive out of the way you will still get your food 5 times faster and the...

I never write reviews, but this McDonalds is something special. First time we went- mcnuggets were soggy, drenched in liquid. We got a replacement that was also soggy, so we just left. (~2 years ago) Came back once again, nuggets were soggy again... didn't even try to get a replacement (~1 1/2 yrs ago) 3rd time tried their burgers, so wet it leaked through the plastic wrapper of the burger, burger was decent tasting, but couldn't stand the drenched half. (~1yr ago) Ever since then we try to stop by to see if they can clean up their act, each time we get wet burgers. (~1yr - 3 mo) I wouldn't have a problem with this place if it wasn't the fact that every time we go there they have terrible food quality (for mcnuggets and burgers). I frequent Mcdonalds regularly and this one is #1 in low quality. Service, it must be said, has not been especially bad or good... ----Side note, you can't even get a cup of water, you must order their bottled water- it has also been this way for years and they have never changed it. (all the other chains in the area have water cups, this one does not.)

I would always come here every once a week or twice. Or maybe even like twice a month. I remember my dad taking me here almost everyday when I was a kid for a simple happy meal. One time, my siblings wanted mcdonalds and me and my mom go over there to get some. Instead of the drive thru, we went inside instead and see a man standing waiting for his food. I simply wait if there was anyone else who could take my order but none. Around 13 minutes later their manger comes in and asks what me and my mom want. We asked for it and it took at least 25 minutes. Doors were closing and the man that had been waiting was able to leave. I was the only one there while my mom was waiting for the car. I had my meal and went home. The fries were dry and hard and chicken nuggets were not good. Usually it would be 10 times better but this was a little down dropping. My siblings didn’t like it.
