Edit #2 I was really hoping that someone would own it and put an end to this, but instead I get this response. I really don’t think you’re “truly sorry” and I’m shocked that you didn’t get the point. I’m not understanding why you would own the mistake or “failure” as you called it when private messaging but then you make up things on a public post.
I understand the policy and you have the right to put whatever you want on your restaurant policy, and everyone seeking your service should respect that policy.
You (or someone from the restaurant) literally apologized to my in-law after reviewing camera footage because you realized that the server didn’t inform us about the policy before hand, and now you’re telling me that she explained the policy to us? Should I post an image of the Facebook messages too?
She didn’t ask us if we want to speak to a manager, neither did we ask. It’s not worth it to make a scene on a busy Friday night for $20. The server repeated more than 3 times that she never heard of the policy and she was apologizing. If she was lying and acting, that’s on her. I’m not in a position to judge people, I try to take their word and hope they’re honest.
Lastly, we do NOT call people names, no matter what. The server was professional and polite. We cut her a piece of the cake because we liked her and she recognized my in-law from a while ago when she taught her how to wrap silverware in another local restaurant. It was as friendly as it gets.
That’s said, I really hope that the person responding to this post is from the management side and not the ownership. Your apologies is accepted and I wish you all the best. With some work on the management side I have no doubt you’ll be the best pizza in central Ohio. Cheers!
Edited: It pains me to change my review to one star but that’s the only way to express that I will never step in that place again. The food was great, the service was outstanding and it was my wife’s birthday, so my in-law brought a mini cake for her and our 3 yo son. The waitress politely offered us some clean plates and 5 minutes later, she came back with a red fuming face to tell us that her manager is charging us for “bring your own desert”. No one told us about the policy and the waitress was not aware of this policy either. Although we ordered deserts to go, the manager still charged us for bringing a cake. And if you ask what the charge was, I will tell you it was more expensive then the most expensive item on the menu. $20 for bringing our own cake. I hope this was the manager call only and if it’s a restaurant policy, I hope they cancel it. Lastly, being a manager is taking responsibility, I would’ve appreciated it if the manager took the time and explained the situation instead of pushing their subordinates to an uncomfortable situation. This is our go to pizza spot, and food never disappointed. Pesto bread is a must try appetizer, and this was the first time we tried their sub, and it was great. If it happens and you go there on Sunday, you should order the waffle and chicken pizza. It is my personal favorite after St. Georgio. The only reason it’s 4 stars and not 5, is that the service is usually...

Original review:
Very friendly staff. Food was great. Only 4 stars because we went at 7 pm on a Saturday night we ordered the sampler appetizer and they were out of the steak portion. For the meal I ordered the chicken and mushroom alfredo which was very good and my wife ordered spaghetti and meatballs. It was excellent. The bathrooms were cozy and clean. Overall this was an enjoyable evening and we will go back. Hopefully when we do go back they will have all their menu items. Next time we try the pizza
Update: 6/26/2022 lunch
We went back a second time. This time for lunch when we arrived they were busy. There was no one waiting for a table. We stood at the door for fifteen minutes waiting for a table. At no point did any of the staff even acknowledge that we were there. There were available tables that had opened up while we waited. My wife and daughter wanted to leave. I then mentioned to her that I would find a manager and get this resolved which is what I did. At this point they finally acknowledged us. They were apologetic. The rest of our experience was just as above. This time my wife did order the wood fired pizza. She said it was very good. I had the the chicken and mushroom Alfredo again. It was very good. We went with some friends and they ordered the meatball sub and said it also was very good. The meatball sub came with a bag of chips. Updated photos below. I am adjusting my review to three stars because of our experience when we arrived at...
Read moreI want to first start by saying that the taste of the food is amazing! I mean it is absolutely outstanding but, my complaint is with the amount of food that they give you when you do carry out and most definitely with the amount of meat that you get when you do carry out. Because it's been my experience that it's differs from, eating at the restaurant, versus, carry out... And what I mean by that is that it seems like their portion is smaller and you definitely don't get as much meat and like I said that is Ben my personal experience. Also, if I'm going to pay $11 for a salad, I would like to think that maybe I could be given more than three tomatoes and more onion and olives I mean there was like next to nothing in my salad, not to mention that when I place to my order there was an issue with the online ordering so, I called in and I asked for fresh mozzarella on the salad and was told that I could not get that but online, not only can you get it but, it's actually an option that is offered to you. So with all of that being said, my last thing is tha,t the pricing was more when, the girl took my order than, what it is online or, in the restaurant. Very confusing! But, once again I want to say that, the food tastes amazing, it really does, it's just those couple of things that would make this experience out of this world if they...
