I used to frequently eat here, my "go to" with teriyaki has always been beef yakisoba. Now, having pretty much solely ordered said yakisoba at this place (nailed it 90% of the time) I decided to try something different on their menu. Well that was a mistake. I ordered the orange chicken and my roommate ordered food too. We went and picked up the order and brought it home (less than 2 miles away), once we got there we opened our food and began to dig in. The food was aweful. My chicken was soggy, bland, and essentially in one big smooshed up pile. My roommates order was wrong and also not very good tasting, and somewhat watery. Now this is where a normal sub par restaurant experience turned super foul. Upon reviewing our receipt my roommate discovered that the owners wife had also charged him an additional $7 gratuity without telling him and without his consent. We went back to them with our barely touched food and explained that the food and the service weren't up to par and that we wanted our money back. What followed was a series of insults, finger pointing, and us being told that we were liars and that I was a "bad man". they first refused our refund but after a rather long back and forth we were able to resolve the issue through my roommates credit card company and were reimbursed. Honestly I wish I had stuck to the yakisoba since they are so close to were I live. But to be perfectly honest if you really want GOOD teriyaki with GREAT service, and you don't feel like being called a liar and getting kicked out of a restaurant you have frequented for several years over one complaint. Then my recommendation is best teriyaki...

Rude service, had a friend of mine come back inconveniently with an orange chicken order to complain about how extremely saucy the orange chicken was, to be returned with an attitude and yelling that involved it being my friends fault that she didn't inform her of easy sauce... Even though the bag was leaking and it looked as though the sauce erupted from a sink flowing it.
The best part? My friend; she was told to not come back again! "You no welcome back here" Their chicken teriyaki is good, but that's the simplest thing to make in a Chinese restaurant to where it's like asking if a McDonald's can make a good cheeseburger. Nothing to abide by as a determining factor of quality or consistency. Terrible place, bad attitude with a guy chalking phlegm outside after a Cig break. Unless if you want a slightly...
Read moreI really wanted to like this place—the food was moderated and the service was awful . But I have to say, I was pretty surprised to see a $1 charge just for asking to make my dish spicy. Not for an extra portion or anything elaborate—just to add heat.
It’s not even about the dollar. It’s the principle of charging extra for a basic customization, especially something as simple and expected in Thai cuisine as spice. It feels like a nickel-and-dime move, and it makes you second-guess whether you can make any small request without being charged.
Restaurants should want to make food the way customers enjoy it, not treat every preference as an upsell. I’d think twice before coming back just for...
