421 Creamery — Restaurant in Mountain City

We are visiting up In Mountain City for the 4th of July weekend and on our way here we had experienced some brake issues, found a local shop Jason’s auto repair(which was also absolutely amazing) we had dropped our car off and explored local shops and such and then we just needed a place to sit down as it was getting hot, 4 adults and 1 infant, we sat in front on 421 Creamery, was told they didn’t open till 1pm but more than welcome to stay and hangout, very much appreciated. After sitting there for a while the owner brought us out some water, and had a conversation about where we were from and all that good stuff, overall very outstanding experience, delicious soft served ice cream, amazing staff, friendly, genuine, and really just the kind of place that needs to be in everyone’s “go to” places. Can definitely say if we are in the area or just planning a trip, this will be a go to place for us, for vacation or...

Ice cream was delicious and many flavors to choose from. They even had a no sugar added butter pecan packed with pecans. You order at the window up front. The associate was very helpful and able to answer all questions. Samples were also available. We ordered at the front and were instructed to pick it up at the window just around the corner. They were somewhat busy so we were looking for a place to sit but as soon as we rounded the corner our ice cream was already served up by another friendly associate...You can't go wrong here. Fantastic! Such a great experience from start to finish! The owners & staff are super friendly. The prices are more than fair for generous portions. The soft serve is incredible! The vanilla tastes like vanilla bean, & the chocolate tastes like chocolate! I had their flavor of the month Apple 🍎 Crisp - it has apples & oatmeal in it DELICIOUS! And I had a 2nd scoop of Pumpkin Pie that had pieces of crust! And I got a Doggie Dish for my guy that was topped with dog bone!

They're only open for another 2 weeks this season, so make sure you get up there. It's sooo...
