Club 60 Steakhouse — Restaurant in Mountain Grove

Our first time at Club 60 for our regular date night. We are from WP and we decided to try outside of our city for something different. We recommend the place and we will be back. We were immediately put at ease and comfortable, the decor, the atmosphere, the smells, and the wait staff were beyond friendly for as busy as they were. The wait staff was seating people as fast as they could. The young lady that took care of us tonight, Gayle, was fantabulous. She asked us table or booth and we said booth to which she said that she would wait for the booth as well. She cleaned it off and seated us. She had guessed we were new to the place. Gayle immediately had us at ease got our drink orders and told us of the specials and even recommended an appetizer or two that she preferred. Gayle was fast, courteous, and friendly even as she sped from table to table attempting, and succeeding, to keep up. She made sure we were taken care of without being pushy. She let us eat and kept our drinks filled. The food was plentiful and fabulous, and the dessert, oh my, delicious and plentiful, unlike other places you get a small slice. I got the PB pie and my wife got Blackberry cobbler, the slice I got had to be a quarter of the pie. The servings were massive. I Had to get to go boxes for the dessert. I'm visiting friends and from out of town, I went for a meal by myself tonight (by recommendation of my friends, who had prior engagements) and chose this place and I couldn't have been more thankful that they mentioned it.

My server (didn't catch her name) was very attentive, the restaurant was perfectly clean, and the most important is that the food was absolutely delicious!!! I will be back before I head home and I'm looking forward to it.

I had the pulled pork dinner and also some ravioli ( the ravs' were on a special half off portion of the menu, not sure what made it discounted but I went for it because it was) and loved ever bite!!

(I ended up eating here three times before I made my way home. Everyone I got served by or interacted with was great. I'll be back to visit my friends and this is on my list of spots to stop in to when...

Was packed when we showed up, looked to be 3 large party’s going on, after we got our appetizers we were waiting over 30 minutes for our food before we asked where it was and all we got as a response was “I have no idea”, even a “our kitchen is behind, but I’ll check on it” would’ve sufficed. Another 20 minutes and I sent my husband to get our check to leave when we were our informed our food was finally on its way out by another waitress who also told us they’re understaffed and behind, when we finally left we’d been there for a little over an hour and a half. We had 2 small kids who were very upset and very hungry that we would’ve gone somewhere else if we would’ve known. We also tried to flag our waitress down several times for refills and were passed only to have to ask other waitresses. If it’s that understaffed large party’s shouldnt be taken, or other guests informed. To drive 1.5 hrs to come here we probably won’t be back.
