We recently dined at Tandoori Pizza in Mountain House, CA, and had an absolutely amazing experience! The restaurant was quite busy when we arrived, but despite the rush, we were seated quickly, which was impressive given we were a group of 8 family members.
The menu is unique and creative, and we decided to try their large pizza with half Chili Paneer and half Curry Veggie Delight, along with the Jalapeno Pineapple Cheesesticks. The pizza was incredible--loaded with vibrant toppings and bold, well-balanced flavors. The Chili Paneer half had a delightful spice kick, while the Curry Veggie Delight was packed with aromatic flavors that gave a nod to traditional Indian curries. The cheesesticks were a pleasant surprise, with the tangy jalapeno and sweet pineapple combo working perfectly to create a unique appetizer.
There were ample parking spots right outside, which made getting there hassle-free. The busy yet efficient atmosphere added to the lively dining experience, and the staff was friendly and attentive despite the restaurant being full.
A huge shoutout to Sukhjeet, who was an amazing host and made our experience exceptional. His hospitality and attention to detail ensured that everything went smoothly, and it’s clear he runs an excellent show at the pizzeria.
We loved every bite and left with full hearts and stomachs! Tandoori Pizza is a fantastic spot for families or groups, and we'll definitely be returning to explore more...
Read moreToday, on Halloween, I placed a phone order at Mountain House location for one Desi Stick with Cheese and one Shahi Paneer Pizza. I was told the order would be ready in 45 minutes, which I followed.
When I arrived, the restaurant was crowded, and I waited another 15–20 minutes in line. There were two staff members at the counter, one wearing a turban and another with a bracelet on his right hand, bit dusky complexion and bit curly hair who appeared to have a slight limp. I would like to share feedback about the second staff member (the one with the bracelet).
When I mentioned my order, he simply entered the amount on the register without any explanation. I asked about the order status, and he said it would take another 25 minutes. I explained that I had ordered over an hour ago and had already been waiting, to which he replied, “It’s crowded.” When I mentioned that it had already been more than an hour, he responded rudely, “To kya hua?” (“So what?”). I again said I have just arrived when you asked to come and already waited 20 minutes, to which again he replied "to ky hua".
I found his attitude confrontational, disrespectful and unprofessional. Instead of apologizing or explaining the delay, his tone made me feel frustrated and embarrassed. This experience does not reflect the standard of service I’ve come to expect from any...
Read moreI am generally big fan of Tandoori pizza and we used to drive from Mountain house to Tracy to get Tandoori Pizza. My kids love it. It was such a pleasure hearing the news Tandoori pizza opening in Mountain house. But yesterday was our first time getting Tandoori pizza from Mountain house branch. We had guest and we ordered 3 medium size pizzas of different flavors. But sadly we got one pizza which was fully burnt. We couldn’t eat it and we end up adjusting with rest of the pizza with our guest. We called Tandoori pizza to say please don’t do so next time onwards but there again we were fully upset with the gesture given by the person attended the call. I suggest not to act like this to any customers hereon. I am attaching the burnt pizza here. The business is new here and hope supporting each other as well trust is...
