I ate here yesterday with some family members. Most of us ordered the 2 piece catfish plate. There was so much food, and the catfish was the biggest pieces of catfish I’ve ever gotten at a restaurant! It came with a bowl of pinto beans, hush puppies, coleslaw, pickled tomatoes, Texas fries, slices of onion, tomato, and lettuce, tarter sauce, and ketchup. The kid we had in the group ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, which wasn’t listed in the limited menu, but they were so nice and accommodated her. It came with Texas fries and they offered her different types of bread to put it on. The staff was so friendly and the view is amazing! We watched squirrels, chipmunks, and birds play outside the windows as we ate. Afterwards, we followed the hiking trail from the restaurant down to a creek that joins up with the city park. I highly recommend this place for the food, staff, atmosphere, and nature!

I stopped in to have dinner while in town and was pleasantly surprised. The pictures on Google were what brought me in, but the place itself kept me here. The food looked a little pricey when looking at the menu, but the quality and portion sizes make it well worth it. I ordered the fried jalapeño chips, ozark onion, and the fried chicken with potatoes and gravy and the homemade rolls. All of it was great, and my server, Marlena, was superb. I'd suggest everyone stop by at least once for some good food and a great atmosphere.

I would come back here for the view before the food. Such a beautiful setting, but the food was average at best. My husband got the bison burger and it was much better than my bland chicken and waffles sandwich with soggy sweet potato tots. The highlight was watching the squirrels and birds right outside the windows.

I won't give this restaurant the worse rating but not far from it. My husband and I ate there twice dirdur a recent visit to Mt View. I ordered the "award-winning" stir-fry vegetables. The vegs were over-cooked and would have been tasteless if the waiter had not brought the soy sauce I thought was going to be added by the cook. The rice was gummy. I also had the beef tips, which were tough and tasteless. The sauce that the menu implied would have helped had I had any. The "steamed rice" was a rice pilaf leftover from the day before - very gummy again. My husband had the open roast beef sandwich, which he said was tough. His "seasoned" green beans and my baby carrots we're again overcooked and tasteless. Our waiter at lunch didn't tell us about the lunch specials and our dinner waitress forgot to bring extra napkins we asked for. This restaurant, in our opinion, is way over-priced for the...

Great little salad bar. Super fresh and homemade items. I had the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and white gravy. I enjoyed it. Another person at our table ordered the hamburger steak with brown gravy and fries and enjoyed it. Another friend ordered the "World Famous Stir-fry ". She said it was awful. It looked totally over cooked to me. Our server was very nice about it and offered to bring her something else. Blackberry Cobbler and ice cream was her choice!😄 And she really enjoyed that! They did not charge her for her meal. It's a lovely room to sit in with windows all around. There are multiple squirrel feeders outside the window that were entertaining to watch while we ate. The employees were super nice and were...
