Dukes diner, awesome little restaurant at the truck stop. Melody is an awesome waitress. Food is great the biscuits and gravy was a large portion and tasty. The chicken noodles soup and grilled was great on a cold, rainy November day and hot the spot. This truck stop and diner is on my favorites list. I highly recommend this truck stop if you're getting parked or just need some place to stop and fuel both tanks - Duke's truck stop is a great place stop.

Was a great experience. Reminded me of old school diners. Home style cooked food and friendly staff! I mean my sausage Patty was not like the Jimmy Dean style. They took ground sausage and made them! Sweet Tea was good and the spicy mozzarella sticks were a solid appetizer choice. Plan to go back regularly when I pass that way!

A real gem for great food on the rt 422 corridor. A good location right off of I-79. The waitress was very efficient and friendly. Inside the restaurant is very clean and open. The breakfast was top notch. Pricing was very competitive also. I will be back and highly recommend this place.

Unbelievable. I can't give the food a review, after waiting 45 minutes for eggs and sausage, we paid for our coffee and left. There were three servers...one, who ended up taking our order, was clearly either hungover or in a coma. The second just plain didn't care about anything, and the third was sarcastic and rude. I watched the rude one bring people their food with an excuse of "we're so busy busy." They weren't. Little more than half full. After 45 minutes we called the woman who appeared to be the leader over, and said "we have been waiting for our food for 45 minutes, I will pay you for the coffee, but we are leaving." The response? "Ok, meet me at the register." No "let me check," no "I'm sorry," nothing. We got to the register, and the three servers were there. I said, "sorry, but 45 minutes is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for eggs." Our server said nothing. The rude one said "well don't look at me, I wasn't your waitress," and walked away. For the record, after leaving, we drove five minutes to Brown's Country Kitchen. It was quick and it was delicious. They also were...

the food and service was great. i was going on vacation to New york from North Carolina. I left my wallet at the diner and when i realized it was gone, I called the diner and to my surprise, they had my wallet. I had my cards in my other wallet and was already in New York, so I ask them if they could keep it safe until I returned. They said yes. The young Lady was so happy when I asked her for the wallet. The manager got the wallet out of the safe ant gave it to me. I opened it and was surprised to learn all of my cash was gone. I know I shouldn't travel with cash, but i don't like to use cards on trips. i had over $1200 in the wallet. Lesson learned, I will go back to traveler checks. Not sure at what point the money got gone. it went from waitress to manager to safe then back to me. So great food. great service, but got trust issues with the diner. I won't go back. I think i would had been less disappointed if they had taken the wallet and cash, but leaving the wallet and taking the money was more suspicious. Please beware when you...

I'd leave zero stars if that option was available. We had breakfast. The only thing worse than the food was the service. The waitress was so slow she seemed to be moving backwards. She did not come by with coffee refills until asked and then tried to give us an order for a different table. My husband tried to order sausage links which they were "out of." We then switched to steak and eggs with home fries (at $12.49 a plate). The waitress didn't say anything about being "out of" home fries but evidently they were also out of those, as we received hashbrowns (the kind that are frozen and you just heat up.) When asked, she said there were no "home fries" because the "truck wasn't there yet." The steaks were barely edible and the scrambled eggs were greasy and "crunchy." Save your money and go to the worst restaurant you can think of. The food will be better there. Hopefully they will improve with practice, but if they don't improve soon, look for the place to close. No one will come back a...
