I’ve heard great things about this place from many people, however never personally visited, until today. I was ecstatic when we came upon it after a day at Moraine State Park. Its a family business & the people are very nice & dedicated to what they do. Surroundings are accommodating to families with the picnic tables, rocking chairs, & tables umbrellas for shade. They also had swinging chair for you to sit & watch horses.

Pretty cool place! Neat little fiberglass trailer, I need to bring the grandkids here! I had a “Yeti” which is like a Mr. Misty float with ice cream in a slushy. I tried peach/mango vanilla, and sampled a root beer vanilla. Both were really tasty. Give this place try! Too bad it’s a little off the beatin’ path! one problem, lots of bees buzzing around the tables, so we ate in our car. They must like the sugar also!

This is truly a hidden gem in the area. Not only do they mark gluten free on their menu, they even use 100% cane sugar syrup! No fake high fructose corn syrup, no standard corn syrup, REAL sugar! The building is hard to miss as it is in the shape of a snowman, which the kiddos love! And the treats are extremely tasty, too! If you are in the area, this is one place that is a great stop off with the family!

I roadside stand is cool. Having it in a style reminiscent of a time of more simple pleasures...

I'm sure it's a local iconic hangout.

Unfortunately, my experience wasn't over the top. The staff was super friendly and helpful in any way they could be.

The snowcone on the other hand was straight up disappointing. However, all that being said, perhaps the proceeds go to a local charity, in which case I commend them. There was virtually zero flavor in the snowcone. Just seemed completely unchanged by the squirts of flavor.... only tasted like ice.

I don't like being critical of small businesses like this. There are so many scenarios a person leaving the review doesn't know about. It's easy to write hate, and I'm trying not to do that here... Only explaining my experience that 1 (one) time I've...

You report bad reviews? Lol! You are rude to people who don't like your "snowcones".....NOT SHAVED ICE. Your attitude on your reviews and the way you cannot take criticism shows who you are and how you treat customers. We asked if it was shaved ice or crushed. Thats all. Two girls were very rude, didn't answer just laughed. Three people with us. Unless one of these young girls is the "owner"..The Owner was not there. We All left not because of it being crushed ice...Not shaved, but because of the disrespect and rudeness of your...

Although the Snowman advertises primarily as a place to get shaved ice, they have a nice selection of cool treats to choose from. Can't complain about the prices either. If you're looking to use the restroom you're out of luck...this is an open air establishment with picnic benches and rocking chairs. Perfect on a warm day. It's not far from Moraine State Park and only about a 25-30 minute drive from Cranberry Twp. Totally worth it. A blue raspberry yeti tends to be my go to (a yeti is your choice of flavor shaved ice mixed with...
