Canyon Lake Steakhouse — Restaurant in Mulberry

For a steak house at a popular destination you would think they would have better atmosphere, service and food. We ordered our ribeye medium rare and it was overcooked with no flavor. Food looks much better than it tastes! The service was subpar. The table/restaurant design is not inviting and just feels like a conference room with a few tables in it. After golf we (4) went for dinner. Seated immediately, very friendly hostess. Decor is nice, sort of conference room look, chunky furniture but comfortable. Beautiful view outside to sunset. My chimichurri steak was medium priced and tasted wonderful, very soft, cooked to order. The sides (Brussels sprouts, broccolini and mashed potatoes) were very good.
