Never was there a better case for reclaiming a space than Rosebud Coffee House. Located inside a repurposed bank, the cafe makes great use of every square inch to create a relaxed open community. Although I did not have the coffee, I noticed many people enjoying a cup or two. I had a Cinnamon Coffee cake muffin. Heated just right, and moist to taste, I was pleasantly surprised by the bits of raisin scattered inside. It was a delicious start to my day. The service was professional: quick, but not hurried, nice, but not too familiar. I was greeted with a smile, and they gave me time to look at the menu to make up my mind. A great addition to near downtown. I'd take this over the Mermaid any day!

It would not be an exaggeration to say this is one of the best coffee shops I've been to, full stop. Insane Bacon Egg & Cheese, even compared to what I've been used to in New York. Maybe it's maple bacon? I'm not sure but it's heavenly. Two more words: Dirty Gingerbread. It's a seasonal so pick it up asap. Dirty Chai with gingerbread syrup, I just finished it and already want another. The atmosphere is absolutely perfect too, feels right at home. They are also taking precautions for social distancing and all employees are wearing masks. This is a must try for Muncie and the surrounding area, and honestly is worth the drive from anywhere else!

Where to even begin with this place? This is easily the best coffee shop in Muncie. Honestly it’s probably the best coffee and cocoa I’ve ever had period. Their signature coffee, the rosebud was fragrant and decadent. All the flavors of each drink I tried were blended together in perfect harmony, no flavor overpowered the other. Each drink was an absolute delight. The atmosphere of the shop is cute, modern, and warm. Had there not been a pandemic I could easily see myself staying here for hours. And as a bonus, they drew a frog in a cowboy hat on my cup. If you haven’t been, go. If you think it’s not worth the drive, it is.

This kind of place is exactly what the Avondale district of Muncie needed. The coffee shop itself has been put into a repurposed bank. I think it's really cool to see this building which would have otherwise remained vacant become a coffee shop. It's also really cool that there's a meeting room that can be rented out that is actually INSIDE the bank vault. very fun. I should probably talk about the coffee though,

The coffee here is amazing and they have a really unique set of flavors. I am a big fan of floral lattes so I love that they have their house latte, The Rosebud, which is actually Rose and Pistachio. I know that sounds weird but trust me, it works. They also have a Lavender option which you can't go wrong with. Along with this they have the typical Mocha, Vanilla, Caramel, etc.

The staff is really nice, (which cannot be said about all coffee shops in town) and the interior has a wonderful ambience, and it's a great place to sit and do your homework if you happen to attend college at any of the nearby...

This is THE nicest, cutest, most dazzling coffee shop I’ve been to. They have tons of smooth, delicious flavors - the toasted marshmallow, white chocolate raspberry, and rosebud are all so enjoyable and hold up to their flavor names. The baristas AND customers are all very nice, and when you get your drink they put little doodles on the sleeve!! The shop is full of unique decorations and seating arrangements (all carefully spaced for social distancing), and there’s even two meeting rooms with whiteboards, markers and doors that shut that you can reserve for meetings. Also, their bathrooms are not labeled with genders, which I’m VERY pleased with (having to pick a binary gender just to use a single stall bathroom gets old). Basically they’re my new favorite and I’m so excited...

I am not usually a honeymustard kinda pal, but omg is the Rosebud's honeymustard one of the most complex and delicious things I've ever tasted with "mustard" in the name. They're out (longterm) of the vegetarian burrito, so instead I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant sans bacon. I'm usually not a fan of eggs, croissants, or honeymustard, but this (somewhat overpriced) sandwich really works. My pal described the honeymustard as almost like a jam, and I think it's both sweet and savory like a chutney.

We also got hot chai lattes, which were delicious. And I got a berry muffin, was a bit dry but satiated my sweet tooth.

One teeny suggestion: Please add an overhang for the drivethru menu/order station so rain doesn’t get into people’s cars...
