Breakfast Cove — Restaurant in Munford

please never eat here. i came here with my family and i ordered food, FIRST OF ALL we were the only family of color who ate here and everybody was seated and tended to before us, we waited over 10 minutes at a table- when we finally just seated ourselves- and when we finally were “served” our meals arrived lukewarm as if they had been sitting for several minutes before even noticed or brought to us. I ordered Fiesta Nachos and the Vegetable Omelet, the nachos arrived lukewarm w/ the cheese congealed on top, none of the advertised toppings and the chips were SOGGY that’s how long they took to bring the food literally. I NEVER received my omelet. My mother found a short and curly black hair on her food…. her hair is gray and straight. For sake of reading, I’ll wrap this up but it was so much more that happened. Gave it one star cause don't offer negative stars. Stopped there for breakfast this morning. Waitress took my drink order and gave me a menu. I ordered my food when she gave me my OJ. After about 10 minutes she came up and asked was I ready to order. I told her she already took my order. She laughed and went back to doing whatever. I watched food being served to customers that came in at least 15 minutes after I did. So I went to the cashier and told her I just wanted to pay for my drink. Tried to tell her why but all she could do was give me that deer in the head lights look. Don't think she spoke much English....

Breakfast cove is a small local restaurant serving American and Mexican food choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very casual dining. It appeared clean and was not overly busy. Our service was quick and friendly. I ordered two scrambled eggs, a side of grits and a side of crispy bacon. The eggs were hot but not really scrambled, the grits were warm but not hot and the bacon was anything but crispy and they didn't even pretend to try to heat it up. It looked to me as if it had been cooked earlier. My husband had an omelet which he did not enjoy and I'll leave it at that. I have included photos...
