Always good tasting foods... The Especial dinner can feed two people... For $13. The guacamole is good and chunky, but small for $4. The salsa is not chunky, low in cilantro, and mild. No hot options. The sweet tea is great! For second time, the tomatoes were bruised, and old. Upon explaining it to them the first time, they just smiled n said thank you. I dont think they understood... Tomatoes better this time but some still had large black spots on it. *Update: 02-14-2022 - horrible salsa.. I don't know what they did, but it is tasted spoiled, rotten, vinegary. More menu options available now , including more deserts. Don't expect alot of condiments to be readily available, they hiding the good stuff. If you order a small personal side of pico, you get a bowl for a family. But it's better than the salsa. .. as always, tea still sweet n tasty, thank heavens! Other gods, still yummy and tasty, .. prices have raised on some menu items... . Wait staff nice, but empty glasses sat for a while. And couldn't tell is difference in chili releno and chili con cueso . Really not busy at all, not even as busy as a Friday night. So not sure what's up with them lately. Since we are often south or north weekly, this restaurant falls off of our rotation now due to the salsa. Mainly. We were just too tired to drive anywhere else for Valentine's day. It's sooooo convenient , but my hubby is a salsa hound. If they ever fix their salsa, please...
Read moreI came in to the Mexican restaurant they seated me asked me what to drink I told them my drink order and asked for cheese dip they brought the drinks and cheese dip before the chips and salsa they brought the chips and salsa two minutes later and we let it slide, then we tell them our order they bring the food to our table in about ten minutes all was good, and our drinks were very low and chips were gone we asked for chips twice and drinks several times, and then the table next to us wants to pay and they say you cannot use card like everyone carries cash, they had no note on the door and they told us at the table so the people sitting next to us had to have one stay and one go drive to the bank, and they were lucky we had cash or the cops were going to get called for not telling us the card reader was down, so the food was great as always, service was terrible, and not telling us before or during that the card reader was down and just bringing the check to the table and saying...
Read moreThe food that I ordered was GREAT. I forget the name of the dish but it was kinda like a Fajita. It had shrimp chicken and sausage in it and 2 beef ribs. The ribs was burned to a crisp. I told my waiter they were burnt and before I could get another word out he snapped at me and said that's the way they eat them here and walked off. When he came back I try to explain that I couldn't eat them that way and could they give me another order or replace them with something else. He walked away again MAD. 10 minutes later he brought my ribs back the way they were meant to be. They were very good.
And one other thing. I HATE it when your but barely hit the chair and they want your drink order and the order for your meal. I like to have enough time to look over the menu instead of settling for anything just to get the orders in. Other Mexican restaurants do the same thing. It's very annoying. Next time I just might hand them the menu back and sit there...
