King Buffet — Restaurant in Munfordville

Almost everything was HEAVILY SALTED.. I eat at a different buffet almost everyday in a different city and state, all over the country.. Good price, however I wouldn't mind paying more for better food. This isn't the worst that I've had, however on a Saturday night at 6 pm there needs to be more than one scoop of food in each pan! The oil and salt in some of the food was out of control... One scoop of pudding? Really? Two chucks of banana? Come on!!.... 4 deep fried shrimp... The place was almost full, are you serious? Standards must be low here... Maybe it was an off day... However I won't be coming back... Waitress/owner? Was wearing flip-flops and couldn't get off of a personal phone call when I was cashing out... Nor did she ask how my meal was.... Oh well she can read it...

The staff does not wear masks in the kitchen and one of the staff members sneezed really loudly in the kitchen. Also, my husband saw a cockroach in the buffet area. The walls are very dirty and there are boxes everywhere. One of the staff members was laying down on the chairs and another one was on her phone looking at videos the whole time. The sign on their door says the lunch is $9.95 but when she rang us up, we ended paying $27.90 for 2 people. We also got iced tea each, so that must have been $4.00 for a glass of iced tea. The only thing I liked were the garlic potato wedges and popcorn corn. The other food was very salty or did not taste good. THIS PLACE IS NOT QUEER PEOPLE FRIENDLY I used to go here before I was out as 'queer', so I guess you could say I looked like everyone else, people weren't as rude back then, but when I had gone back after a long period of time.. Definitely doesn't welcome someone different. I wore bright closes, shaved eyebrows, dyed and mohawk styled hair. The rudeness was as soon as I walked in, and the whole time I was there it continued.
