As a wing lover, this wings hit the spot and then some.We didn’t know it wasn’t really a dine-in place but stayed there because eating wings in a car is crazy. Their wings are a good size and with so much meat too, not all bone. The sauces on the wings are absolutely delicious; I wasn’t sure what most of the descriptions were but I wasn’t disappointed in the least. As a matter of fact, I tried their Four Horsemen wings and lived to tell the tale. We also didn’t know they have $1 wings on Wednesday! So that was a welcomed surprise. Things to watch out for: this is a very VERY popular takeout place. The phone will be ringing of the hook, people will be coming in and out for order pickup, etc - meaning, the cashier/waitress will be incredibly short handed, the cooks will be just mass producing these wings at an admirable level. You can’t order from an incredibly popular (and GOOD!) place and not expect a wait time. Honestly, for the size of their kitchen, I’m amazed at how fast food was coming out of the kitchen. Not our food, but food in general. Once we did get our food, it was absolutely delicious. If I could change anything about this place, it would be their atmosphere. The carpet is so old and stained with grease, it gives the place a little bit of a smell. It’s also not very welcoming...
Read morePros: Wings were a good size and the meat wasn't super dry. The food was ready on time, warm, and overall traveled well - didn't get soggy. We ordered pickup via chownow on a Sunday early afternoon. Picking up was easy and staff were friendly. Cons: I'm not sure if any place in Pittsburgh understands dry rub wings - or maybe we are looking for a unicorn or we don't know what dry rub is lol! This is one of several places that seems like they just coat the dry wing in a handful of spices. The rub comes off when you pick up the wing and it's kind of like eating a mouthful of dry spices with chicken. Additionally, the cost of 6 wings is $9.99 which is kind of insane - maybe the price would have seemed okay if they were good. We got the cajun dry and parmesan garlic dry. We also got the chicken tenders - frozen and fried - would not recommend. I was thinking they'd be fresh and hand breaded but then again it was a side menu item at a wing joint - probably should have known better. They forgot the side sauce we ordered which was an additional $2.00. The fries were okay - again frozen and fried. All in all it was $46.00 for...
Read moreOrdered multiple times. This time I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and 8 game changer boneless wings. The two biggest issues I always have is time and price...ignore the estimated time they give you, add at least another 20-30 mins onto it. The price is very expensive.. for a burger and 8 boneless wings it was 21 and change. Aside from that. Food presentation is meh. Never make the mistake of asking for extra mayo on your burger lol! I like a good bit of mayo but sheeshhh lol... borderline inedible. But burger was perfectly cooked, juicy and tender, good burger size and construction aside from the mayo slop. Well seasoned... the boneless wings are always pretty good, plenty of sauce. So aside from price and wait times it's...
