Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Munhall

Placing order: looked up pizza hut main street and from there hit the ☎️ (call button), 1st attempt: hung up on 2nd attempt: some static but could kinda hear "hello, hello", then disconnected Handed my phone to my son, I walk away and hear nothing, I go back, he is now using his phone and I can tell we are no longer in the USA. Ordered dinner box $15.99. Added cheese to breadsticks for $1.00 uncharged. Total: $16.99 (right), Now we add a cherry Pepsi, (never confirmed size) end of order. Operator(pizza hut ): total is $9.76 Son:🦗, looks at me, Operator: wait, 17.$$, ? Son: ok Operator: that's before taxes.

I give my son $25.00 cash I said, 17.$$ taxes idk anymore, in my mind 20+5 tip.

Delivery: Son comes back in and says "it's $37! I hurry not thinking give him another 20. I think man taxes sure are high!

Food that was delivered SMALL hand tossed 6 piece round pizza, (1 box), next box had 5 plain bread sticks 3 containers of marinara! And that was it.

I call back, trying to get to the USA, PA, Allegheny county, Munhall , main Street PIZZA HUT, to explain. (45 mins, later) He says I can either remake it which you probably won't get for 2 hours, or a refund. I opted refund. He says give it 7-10 business days to go back to your card. Well sir I paid double for the food, tipped someone, didn't get anything correct with order and received only half of my order. So I do not want a credit, I do not want it remade. How about this, pretend you remake it and the driver pretends to put order in car for delivery and he walks up to my door and hands me my cash instead of pizza!! I have visited this location occasionally in the past. During this visit, I placed the order and waited in my car until the time they told me pizza would be ready. I went into the store. Someone came out and took my money, then disappeared into the back. I waited another entire 15 minutes, with all of the employees walking around in the back talking loudly, listening to a male employee tell the story of how he was in a snowstorm the previous night going home etc. etc. NO ONE came out to check on me, to tell me why it was taking so long, to check the register. They could have been robbed and wouldn't have known it. When they finally came out with my (already paid for) pizza, I looked at it and it was wrong. It was plain, missing the pepperoni. I told the (very rude) woman who handed me the pizza that the order was wrong. She said "well that's what's written down". Duh. What's written down is NOT what I told them but what THEY wrote down. Of course it was wrong -- they were all distracted talking with one another. I finally told her just to return my money. She became perturbed and very rude. I said, never mind, just give me the pizza. I took the INCORRECTLY MADE pizza. I called another store who said they would report this to the manager. I never got a call of apology. However, the other store was gracious enough to make up for the poor service of the Munhall location, offering me a credit twice the amount I spent. That's service. We ordered our food over the phone and the girl that took our order even repeated it back for confirmation. Our order was 47.63 for 3 large pizzas and one order of breadsticks. When I went to pickup the order Lila the lady at the cash register told me that they do not have our order in the system. She asked if i wanted to put the order in again with her and i told her I didn't want to pay twice for our order. Finally the manager told her to just make the order. Then I asked Lila " Will the charge on my in Laws card that we used fall off?" . She yelled at me " I told you 5 times that it is taken care of , I don't know what the problem is !? So I told her calmly that I just want to make sure because they are worried about being charged because it went through on their end in their bank account. She then broughtthe food and kind of threw it down on the counter and said very rudely, " There ya go !!" and " Have a good day!" We will never eat there again and will definitely tell others as well. Worst customer service I have ever...
