Circle E Drive-In — Restaurant in Murdo

So thankful to find this place on our way through South Dakota! We were hungry and there weren't many options. I looked at reviews and decided to try. There is nice indoor and outdoor seating. Clean place. The food was delicious - especially the burgers. I had a delicious BLT. Two of us had the grilled chicken, which was a little dry. But overall, we loved it. Huge amount of fries in a single order that all 4 of us could share easily.

The only downsides were the dry-ish chicken sandwiches, the bathrooms were single stall (were clean, though), and I didn't realize we were charged .50 for each cup of water.

Super nice staff. The young lady who took our order said she would make our shake right before we left, no matter if there was a line, which was super nice of her becaus it was in the 90s that day. The woman who brought our food outside to us went back in to get a bottle of ketchup and napkins when she realized they had forgotten them. Just realized I didn't leave a tip -- will try to remedy that when we go back...

Our family was traveling through from Arkansas and we are so glad we decided to stop at Circle E! The food was fantastic… we had the pizza burger, salad, soft taco, ultimate nachos and Hawaiian chicken sandwich and the prices were great. But the best part was the people! They treated us a with a free sample of “funnel fries” (also so good)! And they went above and beyond to help us. After we had driven about 40 miles, we realized that our daughter accidentally threw her retainer in the trash. We called them and told them we were coming back to get it. As I took my first bite, I looked at my wife and said, "This is going to be the best food we get during vacation. I don't think we can top this."

I was right, although there were two notable visits that matched the quality of burger this place produces.

And to think, we were going to eat SUBWAY. But they ran out of bread.

When the food came out wrapped in deli paper, I knew it was going to be amazing.

The fries were great, the staff is so so so so nice. People of Murdo, ya'll are spoiled rotten to have this place.
