After trick or treating my family, friends, and families visited this location around 7:00 pm. Our orders were taken and it was pretty clear when the drink orders came that things would be mixed up. After 30 minutes or so the server started bringing orders to the table that were not anyone’s at the table. She brought two plates of sausage that nobody ordered and when telling her they weren’t ours she laid them on the table behind us and left them. Only 3 out of 7 people got their orders. Another hour later and watching another table leave because their son had not been provided his food and asking about our orders we were told that they cook for one table at a time. The cook was so frazzled that he pulled a whole stack of plates from the shelf that shattered everywhere. An hour and a half in and my husband asks about our food and the server stated she was going to put in our order. She hadn’t even placed the order even after asking several times. My husband did get vocal to explain how insane this experience had been and how no other waffle house had ever cooked one order at a time and to split peoples orders an hour and a half apart when they were taken at the same time, to eat together. We all went together, who would want to sit with their friends while they eat and wait and hour and a half till you get your food? A cook who literally came in the door 5 minutes before we left and had no idea what had been going on called the cops to have my husband banned from this store, as if that would hurt our feelings. Our friends stayed behind and did speak with them. They also waited almost another hour for the rest of the parties food. The most horrible experience from a Waffle House ever had. My Fiancé and I went in around 7:45-7:50. We sat in a booth right near the waffle grills. We were acknowledged when we first got there and that was the first and only communication we received. We had to grab our own menus and we sat for 5 or so minutes giving it time debating on what we wanted to do. Still no service. Waited another 5 or so minutes having decided on food. Still no service and was not even asked what we wanted to drink. Everyone around us was served and they were cleaning tables around us and walking by yet it was like we were invisible. After about 20 minutes of waiting we debated leaving. Ultimately we did leave after another family came in and was not even fully seated before they received service.
It wasn’t the waiting; it was the sheer disrespect from the entire staff. Initially went here to save time. Ended up wasting it. Just hope they treat the next...
Read moreOn 11/2/2024 I stopped by to place an order to go. Upon getting my order and driving 14 minutes to my house I opened my plate to see a Texas toast sandwich that looked like one half was freshly cooked and the other was off of a plate that another customer didn’t eat. I’m not saying that was the case but the look of the 2 halves didn’t match or look like you cut it in half. I drove back to the restaurant to ask for a refund and the manager (Amy) stated that since I didn’t bring the other sandwich back she couldn’t give me a refund on my part of the order. Then out of nowhere she took my order and placed it in the trash and walked off. To avoid a disturbance I asked for her name and she wouldn’t give it to me other than the fact that she was the district manager and I wasn’t getting a refund. I had to get her name from the workers that was in disbelief of her actions. I waiting on a reply from corporate because not only did I pay for my food it was thrown away for no reason.
