I would have loved to have given them five but it was my birthday my daughter had made reservations for 8.00pm we finally sat down at almost 9.00pm but in the very cold garage area! I have arthritis throughout and the cold was making it very painful. They had offered us seats earlier elsewhere when we were all standing in the entrance way but I can't sit on the high stools due to back surgeries . Then there was the issue of not having ingredients my husband wanted the Reuben no rye bread but was offered white?? Rye is a part of a Reuben that makes it one. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ so then he had to order the same burger I did which was ok not a particular wow factor. Forward to dessert no vanilla ice cream to go with it like it's supposed to but we can add extra cream they said I think all in all they were out of at least four things at our table as there were six of us I can say our waitress was really nice and felt terrible about the whole thing but it just wasn't the best birthday experience.... ☹️especially when your bill is over $200.00 and they didn't even know how to make an old fashioned correctly! Oh well maybe we'll have better luck next time if we go on a week night when it's less busy! 🤷‍♀️

Tried Ginny's for the first time tonight and we were impressed. When we arrived, we were told that there was a 30 to 45-minute wait. Looking around, there were multiple tables with "reserved" signs. So, we considered going elsewhere. To our surprise, after about 10 minutes, they seated us. Our server was very attentive, they took our orders quickly and checked on us frequently. We chose Dr Peppers and a side salad each. For the main course, we chose a traditional 6-cut pizza with pepperoni and sausage. Our salads arrived first, which were a mix of fresh greens, Roma tomatoes, shaved parmesan, dried cranberries, and candied pecans. I thought it was great with Caesar dressing I ordered with it. What seemed like 15 minutes later, our pizza arrived. At first glance, I was impressed by the large pieces of Italian sausage and the "doneness" of the crust. The crust was light and crispy, with the right amount of chewiness. The sauce, cheese, and toppings were great too. To sum up our time here, we loved the atmosphere, the service, and the food.

First time there, everything was very good. We loved the atmosphere and the service was excellent. I didn't care for my Pasta Carbonara, but that was a matter of personal taste. We all loved the appetizers and everyone else enjoyed their entrees.

Second time there, last night, was a different story. The food was still very good but the server dropped the ball. I took my son, DIL and little grandson for dinner. We got an appetizer, 3 adult entrees and chicken fingers and fries for the little guy. Another server brought out the 3 adult entrees, but not the chicken fingers. We figured they might be coming although they were the quickest thing to make. After about 10 minutes, we realized it wasn't coming. It was hard to find our server bc they seem to all like to hang out in the kitchen. When I caught a glimpse of her in the kitchen, I asked her about the chicken fingers. She said she would check and came and told us that she had failed to put the order in but it would only take 4 minutes. It took over 15 minutes to get them. When they came, the rest of us were finished eating and had given the little guy some of our meals. We should have just told the server to take it back and take it off the check. Instead, we just boxed it up and took it home. The fries were coated with way too much salt. When the bill came, no apology for screwing up one of the meals and no offer to take it off the bill since we didn't get the simplest meal until the rest of our party was finished eating. Disappointing, but we will go back based upon our prior experience. Hopefully we will get a different...

What a pleasant little surprise. My wife and I were going back home from a college football game and felt like some pizza, but something different. We get to Ginny’s in the middle of the afternoon and the place was surprisingly busy. The place is situated off a trail and had a nice big balcony. We approached the host stand and heard there was a three hour wait…booked til seven 😳. We tried the bar and got lucky, there were a few seats open. Service was a bit slow, but considering there was clearly something going on, that was understandable. I love soups and this place did not disappoint! Home made wedding soup that was not overly salty (pet peeve of mine). Highly recommend the wedding soup! We split a chicken parm sandwich and a six cut arugula pizza. The couple next to us had ordered the same pizza and when it came out, I knew we were not gonna to be disappointed. The chef brought out our food. The chicken parm sandwich was served on rosemary infused focaccia bread. It was good but a little dry. So I asked for a side of marinara. The sauce is fantastic, chunks of tomato’s and garlic (also used it to dip my pizza crust). Arugula pizza was absolutely fantastic. Something different and delicious. Pizza was topped with a blend of cheeses and arugula and drizzled with balsamic vinegar and topped with shaved Parmesan. The chef came back out and asked us how we enjoyed everything. Considering how busy the place was, that was a nice touch. Looking forward to coming back and getting more soup, a pasta dish with that yummy marinara and an another pizza. And I just found out they have a...

We went on a Friday at 6pm and it was very crowded. We didn't make a reservation and although every table was taken we only waited about 20 minutes. While waiting I had the chance to look around; the style is a bit confusing: it's an unusual mix of industrial and rural but it kind of work. There is a dining area with and indoor area, a patio (enclosed in winter with heaters, and picnic tables closer to the Westmoreland trail. On the other side of the dining area there is a lounge area with a small patio in the front of the building; I didn't go there but it looked very cozy and welcoming, although it seemed packed as well. We were sat in the indoor dining area and it was pretty loud. Our server was very nice but the service was slow; we got there at 6 and left at 8 but it wasn't an issue for us. I was pleased with the kitchen staff: I made a change to my pizza and a pizzaiolo came out to ask clarifications in person. I don't think it ever happened to me. The cauliflower pizza is very good and so is the regular dough. They have an extensive beer selection and cocktails, ice cream, and 5 to 7 different desserts. Other downside is that we went back home with our clothes impregnated in oil smell but it happens. Overall the experience was good and we'll definitely go back.

UPDATE: take out isn't as good as dine in. They skim on the toppings. My husband paid 3$ for prosciutto and they put a quarter of a slice of prosciutto. Apparently the girl at the check out even checked the pizza. They didn't give parmigiano either. Disappointing. So check the orders...
