Absolutely HORRIBLE service. We had a party of 8 adults and 3 kids. Made reservations a month in advance as we were there to celebrate 3 birthdays. 1 person in our party highly recommended Bass Bay Brewhouse, so we though great perfect spot! Our reservations were for 6pm, we were not seated until 640pm. No big deal, we get it sometimes a table sits longer than expected. We requested an outdoor seating ( when we reserved) and were seated indoors. OK still no big deal. Upon making our reservation we were told if we had a party of 15 or more the menu would be limited. Sounds good, we understood that was to help expedite service, reserved for 15 just in case we had extra people show up who were undecided. Once our table of 11 was sat, we asked if we were able to order off the regular menu because we had a small enough group, we were denied. Again no big deal. Here's where it all went wrong. Short after we were seated another large group of 14 were seated near us. They were allowed to order off the regular menu. We ordered 3 appetizers for our table, 2 came, our 3rd was given to the other table. Asked our server where our 3rd appetizer was she said it was given to you. No ma'am we have 2 plates as you can clearly see. Then drinks took about 30 mins to come. Then begged our server to come back and take our food order quickly since we had a limited menu and it was an easy decision. She told us she would be right back, well that was another 30 mins. After our food order was finally placed which was 4 fish fry's, 2 shrimp Alfredo, 2 chicken wing orders, and 3 kids chicken meals and a ceaser salad, we waited over and hour and a half. When we asked our server after an hour about how much longer, she replied with "how would I know?" Once our food arrived the salad was wilted and hot, everything else was COLD. We then asked our server what could she do about it, she said I'll grab a manager. The manager came over with an attitude and after we stated our grievances she just stood there staring blankly back at us. We then asked what can she do for us, her reply was "well I was letting you finish." We did receive 50% off our bill after we had to ask for it, when reality our food had hit unsafe temperatures and should have been no charge or remade, which neither were offered. Overall experience was a reason to never go back. The venue is beautiful, we were hoping to enjoy a pontoon ride for the birthday girls and that was no longer an option. The other larger group that was seated after us received their entire meal and dessert long before we ever had our food. Sad to say I had high hopes and was completely disappointed and do not recommend coming here for anything other than a cocktail and a beautiful view. Service was horrible, food was cold and unsafe, and staff did not care. I've ordered food from 30mins away and it was...

I've been to this restaurant on two separate occasions now, and the food is wonderful. But any restaurant can have good food and their terrible customer service skills will ruin it. The first time we made dinner reservations a week ahead and had asked to sit outside since there is such a beautiful view! Over the phone, we were told we couldn't request where we'd like to sit and that it's first-come/first-serve. We got there a bit early in hopes that we'd be able to sit outside and waited an hour to be able to do so. There was a wedding happening, which caused a bit of a mixup outside with guests trying to eat and the wedding attendees enjoying their event. When we were finally seated, we admired the views and loved the food. My boyfriend and I are in our mid 20's but we are always very kind and tip well. Our waitress, Jessica, wasn't attentive to us at all. We barely saw her and she seemed to be a bit rude like she couldn't really be bothered with us. The older couples that she was serving at the same time seemed to be treated very well, though. The management came around occasionally and they were both incredibly kind.

This second time that we went, our reservations were for 5:15 and we included that we'd like to sit outside again. We arrived and there was a wedding ceremony going on outside!! We walked right into it, not knowing. They should have mentioned something when we made our reservations. When we went to the host stand, the blonde hostess was rude stating that we didn't request to be seated outside because there wasn't a note in their system. They said that the wedding would be off of the patio at 515 and they'd be able to get us to a table. We were the first guests to arrive and waited until 6:00 pm for the wedding to move so that we could sit. That's 45 minutes later than our reservation! We saw 2 other couples being seated before we decided we needed to go in and ask what's going on. The manager was standing with the hostesses so they were nicer this time around and they told us that we were next on the list. Our waitress this time, Megan, was WONDERFUL. She was so kind and personable and we left her a great tip reflecting her service.

I recommend getting their pulled ham and fries poutine, prime rib, and the Clark for dessert! The food is well worth it and we've decided we'll give it another try in hopes that we have better luck...

My girlfriend and I just had Easter buffet brunch at Bass Bay Brewhouse in Muskego. We had reservations for the last seating at 3:30 upstairs. We first went to the so called salad bar. The very tiny bar had a half bowl of a tossed salad, small platter of mixed fruit. Empty platter with some capers. I guess salmon was supposed to be there. About 6 dinner rolls in a basket. Cheese an sausage platter with 8 cubes of cheese and 5 or 6 crackers. We were sitting pretty close to the buffet. So as we were eating our salad We saw people scraping the salad dressing bowls because all the dressing ran out. A lady asked if any more salad would be coming out. Another person asked if any more cheese would be coming. As it turns out cheese never came out. We finished our salads and headed for the hot food. There were scrambled eggs sausage, bacon. One dried out eggs Benedict setting all by itself in a chafing dish. I passed on the breakfast items and went for the other entrees. Easter Sunday and I am feeling like some baked ham. Sadly, I could only salvage one tiny thin slice in a little pan of overcooked scraps. Next chafer dish had nothing in it but dried scraps of something I could not make out. Macaroni and cheese was all gone. Just an empty pan. Baked chicken empty pan. So flagged a staff person down and showed them the sad state of the buffet and asked if more food was coming out. Her response for lack of food was interesting. The reason for an empty buffet is that this is the last group of people so they don't want to bring out to much food. So I just had pot roast ,mashed potatoes and gravy. The pot roast was very good. They eventually brought out some chicken and baked cod. Both looked dry and not very appetizing. I ask the server for the bill. Now mind you we had no drinks at the table. We were not offered water. All our server did was take away 4 plates the whole time we were there. And it was just my girlfriend and myself. Our bill was $84.14. 20 percent Gratuity was automatically added on. Almost a $14 dollar tip for a buffet and the server took 4 plates away. We will never be back again. The real rating should be...
