When I tucked into the lengue de res taco I knew the cook knew what a taco is all about. Sooo tender and flavorful, dressed with onions and cilantro. The house green sauce is mild, but flavorful. You can kick it up into the ghost pepper range, only fifty cents a whack for a variety of sauces. It was the best taco I have had in many years. I should've ordered 3, and skipped the Friday special I also ordered, a deluxe tostada. It was a good ground beef tostada. I rarely order ground beef, anywhere. I'm familiar with Mexican food having lived 7 years in Arizona, and I've been to Mexico more times than I can remember. This taco will stand up against the best taco stand taco anywhere. Rosita's taco lengue will keep me coming back to explore the extensive menu. I just read in a different review they have goat, but didn't see it on the menu, or post at the place. They do have pasole! I think it's pasole...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place has above average Mexican food and this is hard to find in Muskegon, there are other Mexican food places but they all have a mix of Mexican American, anyways so my reasoning on this one star
I call in at 11:15 to order food, the lady takes my order and hangs up, 12:28 pops around I call ask when will the food come, she says itās being made STILL and that they are busy it will be 45min wait............ are you serious, this is not the first time this happens she has forgotten my order or forgotten to ask the address or over charged me. The food again is good but the service here is garbage!!!!! By farrrrrrrrr awful like I canāt stress enough how annoying this is. Iād say eat in but even eating there is an awful experience, it seems to always be cold, the tables and carpet are gross. I recommend pick up and plan ahead because they take forever...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBought 4 tickets ($4) at Taste of Muskegon for nachos since that's how many tickets program said were required. Waited in line for 20 minutes. Got a few people from the booth and saw the sign had been changed to 5 tickets. I asked what's the deal, program says 4 tickets and showed him the program. Guy working at their booth said program was a mistake. I had to leave line to get an additional ticket. I thought taste of Muskegon was for restaurants to get the good word out of what was available in the community and all it did was leave a bad taste in my mouth. Nachos were not worth the wait or hassle for $5. Will never visit this...
