Girlfriend and I stopped in here randomly on a âStrip Mall Date Nightâ Saturday. Immediately upon entering we were in a Narnia situation as the outside in no way does justice to whatâs inside. You ever walk into a place and you can just feel that the universe wanted you to be there? Thatâs how we felt. And I donât think weâre outliers in that feeling as everyone there appeared to be there because they enjoyed being there. We chatted with a couple before sitting down and they were nothing but pleasant. Upon picking a booth, we were greeted by the sharp-witted and fully-tatted bartender. I wonât drop her name here because thatâs not my place but she was awesome. It was like talking to an old friend. While trying to decide what to eat, I noticed an imposing but gregarious man seated at a table beside us and- if you havenât gathered yet- I donât mind talking to strangers so I asked him what he would recommend. He was like an NPC. Like his mission was solely to give me the exact amount of information I needed for my quest and he did it with aplomb. Come to find out later, heâs not an NPC but quite the opposite as he owned the place and we happened to be there on their 3rd year anniversary. Some other soon-to-be friends brought a slice of cake for me and my girlfriend. We didnât order any. Itâs not on the menu. It was celebration (read: free) cake and I donât know if youâve ever been given free, unexpected cake but itâs pretty dope. Now, most important: was the food good? You should be ashamed for even asking. Yeah. It was. It was really good. I had the Reuben and my girlfriend had the Corned Beef entre. The owner made conversation with everyone in the building, the bartender/server/superhero was attentive and helpful, the patrons were so inviting and pleasant. I love this place. I canât wait to go back. Itâs the kind of place where you can tell that the Golden Rule really means something to the owner and his team and the atmosphere...

Read moreMy husband came here with friends from work to celebrate him joining the military. He was very wrong to choose this place. He went and the lady behind the bar gave him issues from the beginning. He asked for a cup for his beer because why would you drink it straight out of the can if there are cups available? She gave him one and he obviously used it and threw it away. He got another beer and asked for another cup and she gave him the biggest attitude and said something like itâs your last cup. If thatâs how you guys treat people, the owner should really be ashamed. My husband had a terrible night service wise and he was very disappointed to have gone. But at least he had fun seeing his work buddies. Just giving a...
