I'm a truck driver and ate here last night. I sat at a table and a waitress came by and said "to go?". Wow, I feel welcome already. Two girls took care of me, and they were pretty nice. The food wasn't that great. I got the ground beef chimichanga, and it was okay, but the refried beans were very thin and didn't have very good flavor. I also got a small cheese quesadilla, which was not cooked long enough. It was warm, and the cheese was not even melted. Service for me sucked, but all the Mexicans were sure being taken care of in there. Oh yeah, I was the only white guy in there. When I was finished, I sat there patiently waiting on someone to bring my check. The girls would look at me and then just walk off. I finally had to ask someone if I could get my check, and she just giggled and muttered something in Spanish. Is this really what the world has come to? You can't discriminate against me cuz of my race, but it's ok for me to do it to you. ...

Sadly, this place was really bad today. The flies were everywhere and you literally have to fight them off the whole time you eat. You can bet these flies are getting on the food in the kitchen. The fajitas were while the fake guacamole may have some avocado on it, the filter they use is still. The hard taco shell was old and greasy and the pickled carrots they put out were very old dry and hard. There is a fly trap but the owner refuses too fix it. Would come back if it was free.

with authentic Mexican flavor! The menudo was fantastic and had the slow cooked marriage of flavor. The fajitas were cooked at a very high temp to bring that "Al carbon" flare and the bed of onions and peppers made for a perfect plate. Service was fast, friendly and on point. My only complaint and the reason they didn't get 5 starts was the obscene amount of flies and I was constantly trying to keep them...

My husband called in a order last night, and we went to pick it up, and bring it home. When we picked it up the styrofoam containers in the bag were just covered in grease. It was disgusting. When we got home I ate a fajita, and it tasted terrible. They needed to clean their grill because the grease was nasty. When I also went to taste just the cheese by itself without it on my fajitas to see what was wrong the cheese tasted like curled milk. It was spoiled. We went back to tell them we wanted a refund, and they refused to give to give us our money back because they all tried it from their batch, and said its okay so the manager said not to refund. They also continued to serve this to other people knowing that it could get many others sick. I’m contacting the...

I'll be honest - the beans and rice here are straight awful. Flavorless. If I could get my meal without them, I definitely would. The service or cooking time is always really slow. (But if it's the cooking time, then it's pretty worth it) However, the queso here is the best in town. So addicting! Price and taste wise, it's great. It's different than most queso - authentic, white, and no peppers. (It has a spice there - maybe they blend the peppers? But, none is visible to the eye) It definitely saves this place from a 3 star to a 4 star review. Along with my next recommendations. The flautas are so crispy. The chicken on the inside is still moist. I Love These So Much! Also, the enchiladas mexicanas are amazing - but only if you squeeze lime on top.

WOW THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN MY OPINION FROM LUFKIN TO NACOGDOCHES TEXAS. I ORDERED THE TEX MEX DINNER WITH ENCHILADAS AND IT WAS VERY GOOD. WE ALSO ORDERED A SIDE ORDER OF QUESO AND IT WAS THE BEST I HAVE EATEN IN A LONG TIME. THE HOST WERE VERY POLITE AND THE RESTRAUNT HAD A VERY COZY FEELING. I WILL DEFINATLY BE A FREQUENT DINNER HERE AND I WAS PLEASANTKY SUPRISED WHEN I GOT THE BILL. IT WAS VERY VERY RESONABLE AND I WAS VERY SATISFIED. I GIVE IT A 5 STAR RATING AND THUMBS UP....JOB WELL DONE. THANKS GUYS.

Decent convenient Tex-Mex. Nothing to go out of your way for. The prices were lower on the menu than what they were on the bill. There was a disclaimer on the menu stating that all prices were subject to change. We were seated inside eating over an hour before closing time, and a staff member came by and mopped the entire floor with very strong Fabuloso cleaner. They mopped right beside our booth, and the cleaner smell was very unappetizing.
