Taqueria El 21 — Restaurant in Nacogdoches

I drove 30 min to go to nacogdoches, I wanted to eat some good tacos and food and what do I get. I got the worst service, and my waitress was not even friendly or nice. It seemed like she didn't want to be there. Mind you, there were only two waitresses. First off, she tried to rush us to order our food. Then we waited for 1 hour she didn't come to check or see if we needed anything. I kept asking about our order, and she would say she was gonna go check and wouldn't come back for a bit. Finally I decided we would just leave and then she brought our food and said that they had packed it to go by accident. When we asked how long it had been sitting in the back, she said it had just come out and instead of asking if we wanted to eat there. She chose to just take the food to the front and say they'll pay now. When I got to my car, the food was super cold. But I was already frustrated and annoyed, so I just chose to leave instead of going back inside to say anything. I'll honestly not be going back, and this is the worst service I have gotten, I'm just leaving this here so that hopefully it doesn't happen to...

I would like to start by the service. Employees were rude and had a bad odor. I wish i didn’t drive 40 MINUTES after a long day at work. Outside the restaurant it looked like a homeless shelter and was tearing apart .As soon as i got my food i seen flies. Not 1 not 2 not 3 BUT 4 flies. They charged for meat and candy was 1 dollar. I could get 5 good candies for a dollar. The fan was the only air conditioning and instead of nice cold air IT GAVE HOT AIR. Unbelievable do better. After i received my food i took a bite and instead of nice soft meat it was crunchy and hard. The drinks were hot and were old. Cockroaches,spiders, and flies were seen. Felt really uncomfortable and employees kept staring at me. I seen a female employee scratching her bottom front and sniffing after. The restroom was really dirty and ugly. Amazing staff and food! I always hear people praise El Jaliscience but I promise you these street tacos are WAY better! BEST in town actually! And the restaurant doesn't water down their salsas like the other place. Fresh meat always and never disappointed. The horchata is homemade so it doesn't taste fake like other restaurants that use the powdered mix! Definitely great pricing! My partner and I have been coming here for YEARS! We're able to have our favorites and BOTH of us eat for exactly $10.01 plus tip! Can't beat that!
