Sugo Mio Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Naperville

This is shame. We have ordered pizza from here quite a few times. Not a huge menu, but the pizza was always good. Unfortunately this low rating is due to lack of customer service and courtesy. So today I ordered a pizza, 40 minutes to pick up is what I was told. I Figured ok, they must be busy. I show up at 38 minutes and expect to wait a couple minutes, no big deal. I get to the counter and I'm told an additional 10 to 15 minutes wait because their dough roller broke. Ok, I get it things happen. But you can't call a customer who is going to drive and pick it up?!? I mean some common courtesy goes along way! My time is as valuable as theirs! So here I sit.....and wait......and wait some more. For food I should have had about 10 minutes ago. And do you think a discount or some coupons for my next order would have been offered?? Nope! Regular price for a non regular time frame! May be the last time I order pizza from here. Sorry, but doesn't take much effort to make something right when you haven't delivered what was expected. Edit - gave them another shot but ordered pasta dishes this time. Sauce is WATERY and pasta was tasteless. This was a complete miss and sadly will not order from this...

Would give zero stars if I could. First experience was the last. The person that took my order couldn't work the phone properly, had another caller on at the same time as me so I had to wait even longer to place an order because he helped her first. After giving my address and spelling it, he still put it in wrong warranting a call from his Superior to clarify. Then when we finally open the pizza and find that they made a mistake and put mushrooms on the whole pizza when I asked for it only on half. I called so the problem could be fixed and the manager said he could send a new pizza but I would have to give the other one back. I was willing but some slices were missing because my son got to the pizza before I did. I suggested he didn't have to send the same large pizza just a small with the correct ingredients. Since my son had taken some slices the manger then retracted and said he couldn't send me a new corrected pizza that all he could do is give me a 10% discount the next time I order. To top it off the pizza dough was so undercooked I had to put it in the oven and recook it. Definitely will not be ordering from them again even if the prices are lower than...

I will not return, I ordered twice now from this place, Last time I ordered 2 pizzas that were supposed to feed 4-5 people each. 5 people ate both with no problem as there was a very small amount of ingredients and not enough cheese. The flavor was mediocre. I thought I would give them another chance and I ordered the Lasagna this time. The picture on their website shows a picture of lasagna with meat in it. The Lasagna was very mushy(overcooked noodles), No meat, barely any ricotta. It was like eating mushy noodles with red sauce. Terrible! I also ordered a side of meatballs.I got only one med sized meatball for $2.50. Lou Malnottis gives two and bigger than theirs, Traversos gives 3 but a little smaller. All in all very unhappy with my two experiences and will not give them any more business. Dont be fooled by their reviews as I was, they only opened this year but somehow have reviews dating back 3 or more...
