Chianti Italian Cuisine 7/25/24 6:45p
Easy to find, good size parking area
Atmosphere: Upon walking in you are greeted by more than one smiling face ready to assist you. Beyond the hostess station you see a bar seating around 12 with a decent beer, wine and cocktail selection. Follow the bar and you enter the dining room which is also filled with individuals clearly enjoying their meals and lost in conversation. The overall feeling is a bit loud yet warm and welcoming.
Menu: The menu is well thought out and offers something for everyone In my group (3) we started with the breadsticks these came with a sectioned Dipping dish Containing a delicious olive oil and some incredible pesto As an appetizer we chose the toasted Ravioli (these were also delicious)
Our entrée choices:
PICCATA VEAL WITH A WHITE WINE LEMON BUTTER SAUCE, CAPERS, ITALIAN PARSLEY SERVED OVER LINGUINE ( lemon is a bit strong but otherwise excellent)
CHICKEN SAUTEED IN A MARSALA WINE SAUCE, MUSHROOMS AND PROSCIUTTO OVER LINGUINE (Best had in quite a while)
TOUR OF ITALY THE CLASSICS-CHICKEN PARM, CHEESE RAVIOLI AND LINGUINE ALFREDO (Classic and delicious)
Experience overall From the second we walked in till the second we headed back out into the parking lot we were 100% satisfied. The food and service was top notch and I will most certainly be back. I give the experience a 9 out of 10 and recommend...
Read moreHave been here twice. First time, was early on Thursday. Got seated right away. Service and food was excellent! Just noisy because of the tin ceilings. Second time, early Saturday evening @4:30. Was told 1 - 1- 1/2 hour wait. However, they take reservations for 8 or more people. So at least 3 groups of 8 or more were seated ahead of us- taking up many tables. After an 1-1/2, still not seated, yet there was a table of 4 ( minus 1 chair). They told us we couldn’t sit there. Ended up sitting at the bar. Did give us a round of free drinks. Then took at least 15 min before they took our order, after having to get the bartenders attention. Thought we would be able to relax and get our food within a reasonable amount of time No…. After at least 1/2 hour had to ask where are dinner was. Took another 10 minutes before we got our meal. I think all these large parties at once are putting excessive stress on the cook staff, as well as wait staff. Subsequently, affecting the experience of smaller groups of diners. They need to limit the number of large groups they serve in an evening as the restaurant is not big enough to handle them. I can’t help wonder how many smaller groups are being turned away because of these...
Read moreMy husband and I went here for our anniversary dinner. It was a Friday evening, but the wait wasn't very long, maybe 20 minutes. There were many appetizer and entree options, and the wine/beer list was very extensive and really great! We didn't have to wait long for our food, which was delicious. I got fettuccine Alfredo, and it was very obvious that the fettuccine was made in the restaurant. My husband had a dish with marinara, which was amazing as well. We also ordered dessert for home, so I haven't tried it yet but it looks good. The only thing that I would say to detract from all of the positives is that it can get loud when it is busy. However, I am recovering from an aneurysm and part of the side effects is the inability to process different levels of sounds occurring at once, so I had to leave my husband to pay the bill while I went to the car. But this could easily be my own skewed perception, and it certainly shouldn't detract from trying this gem of...
